"That's enough. That that's a show of disrespect to me."
That was Barack Obama, a couple of weeks back, explaining why he was casting the Rev. Jeremiah Wright into outer darkness. It's one thing to wallow in "adolescent grandiosity" (as Scott Johnson of the Powerline Web site called it) when it's a family dispute between you and your pastor of 20 years. It's quite another to do so when it's the 60th anniversary celebrations of one of America's closest allies.
President Bush was in Israel the other day and gave a speech to the Knesset. Its perspective was summed up by his closing anecdote a departing British officer in May 1948 handing the iron bar to the Zion Gate to a trembling rabbi and telling him it was the first time in 18 centuries that a key to the gates of the Jerusalem was in the hands of a Jew. In other words, it was a big-picture speech, referencing the Holocaust, the pogroms, Masada and the challenges that lie ahead. Sen. Obama was not mentioned in the text. No Democrat was mentioned, save for President Truman, in the context of his recognition of the new state of Israel when it was a mere 11 minutes old.
Nonetheless, Barack Obama decided that the president's speech was really about him, and he didn't care for it. He didn't put it quite as bluntly as he did with the Rev. Wright, but the message was the same: "That's enough. That's a show of disrespect to me." And, taking their cue from the soon-to-be nominee's weirdly petty narcissism, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Joe Biden and Co. piled on to deplore Bush's outrageous, unacceptable, unpresidential, outrageously unacceptable and unacceptably unpresidential behavior.

Yet another ‘Rope-a-Dope’ accomplished by our President. :)
Me thinks these dhim-wits doth protest too much.

Another great Steyn column.
Obama is simply the worst major candidate for president in modern history. He is an arrogant, self-righteous, egotistical, terrorist-sympthatizing, appeasing, utterly worthless pile of garbage; a pitiful excuse for a human being, let alone presidential material. He cannot be permitted to set foot in the White House.

Bush must have hit a left nerve. LOL
Very soon in this campaign...most all criticisms about Barry will be described in liberal circles as...racist.
It’s already started.
Democrats are a funny bunch. Not offended by “G-d damn America!”, but any dish (even if only remotely implied) of their Annointed One and the $hit really hits the fan. It is comical that Democrats can go to foreign soil and directly attack American foreign policy, but any alleged innuendo about their Obamessiah and you commit heresy.
The Truth shall not be spoken about the prophet Black Whiteguilt Oblack.
Pray for W and Our Troops
From the reaction, I think he severed Obama's spine.
Obamination said publicly that McCain wants to continue a third term of President Bush. I will accept that over Obamination’s desire to continue the second term of President Carter.
When I heard the President’s words, I thought of Jimmah Cahtah and his ilk. But if that’s a shoe that O’bama wants to wear...
From left to right: Clinton, Pelosi, Obama, Biden and Kerry.
Isn’t it truly amazing that the Rat party has managed to produce a presumptive nominee who not only has managed to knock the formerly annointed one off her pedestal but actually bids to be such an indescribable Obamanation as to make her heinous look good by comparison? I never cease to be amazed.
Yeah, for sure. I think the only thing that Bush could have added to his speech to make it more effective would have been a Power Point slide of Chamberlain getting off of the plane from his return visit with Hitler waving a piece of paper and stating that he had”visited with Chancellor Hitler and he signed the document in his hand which ensured “peace in our time”. I think that photo slide would have been absolutely fantastic...
The shoe fit perfectly and Bush has been talking about appeasers since he took office. Obama insists its all about him to get his face all over the news. He had full contol of the press for a few days because he manufactured an attack on himself. Note that McCain was unable to do the same. Bush didn’t do anything but say what is true and as usual Dems were all over it with lies.
Yep, nothin’ like dissin’ a black thug. That will call for some serious repercussions on the part of the “not” obamas team. Obama, of course, will be totally innocent./s
“Bush must have hit a left nerve. LOL”

W has something Obambi will never have...balls.
