HUGS FOR THUGS COULD SINK NAIVE OBAMA
NYP ^ | May 16, 2008 | Charles Hurt

WASHINGTON - What is it about the word "appeasement" that got Barack Obama's ears ringing?

Without once uttering the freshman anti-war senator's name, President Bush warned against negotiating with terrorists on the futile hope that a little more dialogue will turn these satanic beasts from their death pact to wipe Israel off the map and kill as many American men, women and children as possible.

Obama, who has proposed meeting with the leaders of Iran, Syria and North Korea just as soon as he gets into the White House, heard his name somewhere in the president's speech and quickly issued a press release.

The White House insisted Obama was simply suffering from the narcissism that convinces so many politicians that everyone is talking about them.

Top Democratic leaders, including Sen. Chuck Schumer, called it a below-the-belt political attack.

Bush’s administration is already negotiating with North Korea,

I seem to have misplaced my copy of the 5X8 glossy showing Bush sitting down with Kim Jong-il.

A google image search for "Bush and Kim Jong-il" doesn't help me, either.
:-)

Slurs against the great Hussein Obama are outrageous obaminations!
Accusations of Appeasement? Never!
Hussein Obama, peace be upon him, is peace loving,
Yes, only peace loving!
He will only acquiesce to others to keep peace and support justice!

Great photo!

In 1939, an American senator declared:
`Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler,
all of this might have been avoided.'

"Bush’s administration is already negotiating with North Korea, "

HE’S ALREADY TALKING WITH TERRORISTS

Yes, but there is a distinction. Bush at least talks about pre-conditions, whereas OBambi just wants to go straight in with direct President-to-President chat sessions. Which gives the terrorists a huge coup in public relations, directly legitimizing them.

Bush’s administration is already negotiating with North Korea, so HE’S ALREADY TALKING WITH TERRORISTS...

FNFs discussed this with John Bolton this morning and he put the blame on Condi Rice. I'll take his word on that and most everything else.

No one on this thread seems to realize that the Dems want nothing more than to have this election campaign be between Obama and Bush. Bush is the most despised man in America, regardless of what we think, and Bush is going to hand Obama the WH on a platter. The timing of Bush’s speech almost completely pre-empted McCain’s own speech. Is Bush really as stupid as the lefties have been saying? He seems lost without Rove.

What’s funny is that I thought Bush’s remarks applied more to Carter and Pelosi than to Barry.

Of course you'd be exactly right to assume that.
Why on earth would a sitting President refer to a wannabe like hussein?
When someone has something to say pertaining to him, I'm sure they'll refer to him by name.

I guess standing on the soapbox, shouting just isn't doing it for him...
too bad.
