CHATSWORTH Authorities Thursday were investigating a beating and possible sexual assault involving three women and as many as ten suspects in a Chatsworth park, according to police.
Detectives were sent to Mason Park, at Mason Avenue and Devonshire Street, about 10:40 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Kate Lopez of the Media Relations Section.
Police say there were three victims who were transported to an area hospital.
At the time police found the victims they were reportedly unconscious.
Witnesses said at least one of the women was sexually assaulted as well.
Investigators also say they have two suspects in custody with at least 5-8 more at large.
Chatsworth High Principal Tim Guy says the three women were students at his school and further added, in a statement released through LAUSD, that they were "under the influence of an unknown substance" at the time of the attack.
He also said, "Our campus is calm and secure." He took the opportunity of the attack to remind parents, "school is the safest place for [your child.] Additionally, it is critical that students report to school at their assigned start time."

The most shocking thing about that demographic is how few blacks there are. Even the group I would label as “other” outnumbers the blacks 2 to 1.
Perhaps the teenage girls are aged 18+? And still in highschool?
This is the MSM-speak way of telling us that the perps were ‘harmless’ Latino kids and the victims were white women (who should have known better). If the victims had been people of color, the perps would have been ‘men’ and the victims ‘girls’.
Of course, counting 25-yr-olds and gang-bangers as "utes" also helps the anti-self defense crowd by inflating their statistics.
The only time criminals are descriped is when the perps are white vs. minority or homosexual victims. Otherwise, you have to read between the lines. I have no clue the races of the criminals or the victims but I am assuming the perps were minority preying on some white girls unless or until STATED by the arch-evil MSM. Of course, this could easily be say, Hispanic criminals preying on Hispanic girls. Criminals are just opportunistic cowards for the most part. But the victim mentality tends to lead to a frequent “hate whitey” “whitey is to blame for all my problems” philosophy toward life.
The whole issue of racial divisiveness stinks, but it is in line with human nature that is in us. If we all had skin as white as snow then we would probably break up into groups based on eye color or hair color or something. “The blonde man is putting us down! We red-heads have been oppressed at the hand of blondes for too long! We have to fight back and bring our rally our green eyed brothers to our cause!”
Human nature never changes. Anybody who thinks hate or greed or jealously or laziness or divisiveness can be removed from any society is just naive. Hate & divisivness, like war, are always going to be here. Just no getting rid of them.
It’s very easy to explain why the victims were described as “women.” The media expects that they will need abortions, so as “women,” they have an unquestioned right to speedy, anonymous abortions, paid for by the government — without any pesky parental consent issues — even if they are 12.
Entirely possible, but unless they are 20 or older, then they are still “teenagers”, not “women” per se. Yes, 18 is an adult woman, but “teenager” is the usual term for a high school senior 18 or 19.
By contrast, the MSM calls 21 year old gang bangers “children” or “youths” when they are shot and killed.
Not exactly fair is it? You see, they want to demonize guns so they want to make it sound like children are being mowed down by guns. “Its for the children” of course. So the more people they can describe as children getting shot, even if they lie about it, the more they can get bleeding heart liberals to vote to ban guns.
I understand the MSM has a similar agenda here, I just can’t figure out what it is. For all I know, 16 year olds beat up and molested 17 year olds. One girl was specifically described in the linked article I posted as “very young”. There aren’t too many “very young” nineteen year olds running around. So we know at least one of them was likely a freshman or Softmore, so call her 16 at the oldest.
So attackers and victims are similar age, yet the attackers are labelled “teenagers” while the victims are labelled “women”?
Why? What reason? What agenda? I’m not entirely sure. Maybe they are trying to make the crime less incindiary. You feel more sympathy and outrage at a 15 year old getting attacked and molested, while a full grown woman MIGHT have more emotional strength to rebound from such a heinous crime.
All I know is, the MSM is evil, lies like hell, pushes its agenda and doesn’t come close to telling the truth. Every word they print is carefully chosen to fit their goals. So when the victims and criminals are both teenagers, I get very suspicious why the MSM chooses to call the victims “women” rather than “girls” or “teenagers”, and most especially so when a witness calls one of the girls “very young”.
I don’t trust the MSM further than I can kick a USA Today dispenser.
That is my suspicion as well. Something along those lines. Just immature “youths” getting carried away leading them to be a bit more rough with “women” than they really should have been.
Rather than the pack of rabid vermin that they are, and should be exterminated like a pack of rabid vermin.

So now we know the “women” were all 9th graders. All Freshmen. FWIW, I entered 9th grade as a 13-year old.
These “women” were 14-year old girls. Absolutely DISGUSTING for the Evil MSM to label them as wome. Absolutely dispicable. But then, that describes the MSM on its best day.
