Appearing on today's Morning Joe, Robert Gibbs, the communications director of the Obama campaign, called Bill O'Reilly a "bully," and vowed the campaign would "go directly at him."

DAVID SHUSTER: I've got a question. I want to help out Willie [Geist] here. You've seen this Bill O'Reilly meltdown thing [bad language alert], right? I mean, what did you think about it, and has that made the Obama campaign more or less likely to accept O'Reilly's invitation to go on his show?
ROBERT GIBBS: Well, I—obviously—
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Health care. Just talk health care.
GIBBS: You want me to weave health care into this?
BRZEZINSKI: Robert Gibbs, just do it live [echoing O'Reilly from his meltdown]. Okay, just do it live. Go ahead. Give the answer.
GIBBS: Look, I think—look, I think at some point we will go on Bill O'Reilly's show, despite the fact that—you saw video earlier this year of Bill trying to get into a fight with Marvin Nicholson, a staffer that travels with Senator Obama on the road. Look, I think the best way to go about a bully is to go directly at him, and I think that's something that we'll clearly do.

Obama is a coward. He promised to go on the Factor the weekend before the NH primary “after the primary” and we are still waiting to see him. That’s why, in my humble opinion, we are seeing ancient clips of O’Reilly getting angry with some idiot producer who can’t write understandable English.
They are using a 20 year old video to brand O’Reilly as a bully? And they say they are going to “go directly at him” while not having the balls to go face to face with him on his show? Well then...I sure don’t have to go back 20 years to brand Obama and his minions as a chickens**ts.
C’mon! Everyone knows that BOR and Hannity are bullies. Big deal, it’s what their audience wants to hear.
We also know that the Obama camp is big on words but MIA in the big arena.
Obama want’s to have diplomacy with world-wide bullies but they wil “go right at” domestic talk-show blowhards.

I saw O’Reilly’s program last night and do not recall him wanting to distance himself from Sean and Rush. The only thing I remember him mentioning about the two is that they were not liking the media edging out Hillary for Obama’s sake (and neither do I).

Obama thinks he can shuck & jive his way through the GE? He and his campaign are delusional, either he is strong enough for the job or he is not.
One thing is apparent, he has core principles except boilerplate Marxism, no detailed solutions and likely no chance to be elected!
If I were Obama I would call a press conference about this from a mosque that would be broadcast to all 57 states.

It was during his discussion with Laura Ingram about the Syracuse University Professor. The Prof had attacked the trio on his web site and BO didn’t like it.
He said something to the effect, ‘But Hannity and Limbaugh hate Obama and I have been nothing but fair.’
He’s talking about that old video that Oberman showed on his show the other night? You’ve got to be kidding. Is this guy a wuss or what?
I propose that NBC officially change its name to OBC (and MSOBC, by extension).
