I think 2 or 3 days is too soon.
There will be a phsyical therapist coming to the house and I guess the nurse will continue coming every day for awhile. I’m not sure how often he will get physical therapy.
Well said! A moving post! Thank you for sharing your heart,mk.!
God Bless You Jim... I am sure He is!!!
Polly
God bless you, Jim, and may the Lord bless and comfort you during the healing process.
God is Great! Continued prayers... Keep up the fight Jim, your family needs you, your country needs you, we all need you. God Bless.
Thanks again Amy, for the update. Thanks to all the flower givers to Melanie, Ann , and someone we do not know... thank you for getting Jim flowers. I hope someone sent hims some red white and blue flowers. I know those are Jim’s favorite colors. :-)
Glad you are doing well Jim. Can not wait for you to get back to your folks here at Free Republic.
Thank you Amy. So glad for the good updates. I continue to pray for his healing. Please send him our love.
Thanks again, Amy!
Prayers are entering a new phase for Jim, now. The rehabilation will take some time, I would guess. Just getting use to this new situation is one thing and then there is how to handle himself physically. Mental and physical adjustments! I hope the VA is there with guidance.
I’ve been wondering about making a special donation at the next Freepathon, rather than flowers ——————
Good idea, sent my email tonight!
Prayers, warm hugs, and love to Jim...xxoo
One would think that the hospital would be the one place where a ladies’ man could go to away from all of the demands of being a sex symbol. And even then, Melanie and Ann still found him!
Seriously: I’m so glad to read all of the good news about our conservative and family values hero.
Lifting more prayers so that more can be answered....
Oh sure. Call in the Mods. Wuss....
So happy to hear about your progress, Jim. Take care!
Now, isn't THAT the truth???
Wonderful afternoon report...thanks.
I hope he gets a good idea of what he can do before they release him too. The Walter Reed Patients learn so quickly to get around I am amazed.
I know he will do the same.
Thanks for the ping and updates ... great news that he’s getting better!
You’re still in my prayers, Jim
Thank you for posting these updates, JustAmy. I am so happy to find that Jim is doing better with each report.
Jim, eat, sleep and keep a positive attitude as you begin the healing process. My thoughts and prayers will continue — I know you are surrounded by family and friends and good wishes from everyone on FR.
When I was in the hospital for the 8 weeks after my accident many visitors made me tired quickly.
I am now sending up a prayer for Jim and all of you.
Thanks again Okiedoc.
Glory to God for all things.
I am so pleased to hear that Jim is on the mend.
