2008-05-14) An ebullient Sen. John McCain told a crowd of supporters today that the Republican loss of a Mississippi Congressional seat Tuesday bodes well for his presidential hopes in November.
Travis Childers, who beat the Republican in Mississippi, ran as a conservative Democrat and will now join the liberal Democrat coalition in the House, said the presumptive Republican nominee. What does that signal if not the triumph of the McCain strategy?

LOL is right. McCain does not mention that Childers won in part because he ran as anti-Iraq war candidate.
I actually believed it when I read it.

I believed it too. I just expect McCain to say stupid things.
When McCain won Florida, my initial post was “Holy crap, the GOP is Dead”. That insight was prophetic. His tenure at the top is causing a complete melt down and destruction of the party. November will be an unspeakable massacre.
The conservative movement is dead, killed off by the fanaticism and ego of bitcons such as yourself.
McAmnesty is looney enough to believe this.
