All well and good, but let’s not forget that the Devil comes to us disguised as an angel of Light and Good.
I suspect that not ALL Aliens are Good Guys...

So, Dennis Kucinich isn’t in danger of excommunication, after all?
Are we being set up here for the introduction of “extraterrestrial” influences?
Ah, OK. Are they telling us something we should know about?
Is it acceptable to believe that Juno, Io, Europa and Ganymede orbit Jupiter and not Earth?
All I know is my ex-mother-in-law was from another world.
Gen 6:1-2 - “When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God (bene elohim) saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.”
Matt 24:37 - “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Rev 12:7-9 - “And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. For an institution (the RCC) that puts their church traditions on a par with the Bible, and interprets the Genesis creation account mystically, what would you expect. The Bible says mankind is made in the image of God. Thats good enough for us Biblicists, but not for the RCC, however.
If we believe that we are made in God’s image, then wouldn’t aliens that don’t look like us defeat that belief? Or are we to assume that they were made in God’s imagination?
What if those aliens look nothing like man and want to destroy every other life form in the universe? Hmm...???

There have been numerous science fiction stories dealing with the theological statuses of aliens. Some of the stories were pretty good, some not good. Science fiction, like everything else, is subject to Sturgeon's Law: Ninety percent of everything is crap.
