They should let Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry give speeches at the convention. Just for the comic relief

Lol...I agree!

And Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

If they don't let them speak, the conventioneers will really be getting robbed.

If you're not for for change and hope, you hate children. You don't hate children...do you?

Paid for by Obama '08.

I searched the link and couldn’t find the reference to the Temple Mount. Could enlighten those of us who don’t know about it? Thanks.

I heard him say it on the show, unless I was dreaming...
I'm trying to find speeches by Obama mentioning Temple Mount.

Hey the Messiah can say anything and if anyone doubts it, he calls them racist, fools, out of step, and a heretic. When he reigns, he will simply bring all the globe together and we will live eternally in peace and..............

But liberals want to abort as many children as possible... Oh yeah, wait a minute... It seems their "hope" and "change" is only for some and not for others.

They're getting something from Barack Obama that they've never gotten from any other candidate before. They're getting moral superiority, they're getting self-esteem. ... I'm serious.

I wouldn't quite go that far - a lot of the male Hillary supporters are precisely the same way. But the speaker is correct. What Obama offers is twofold - first, an inoculation against any possible accusation of racism from anybody (in liberal land that's like pure gold) and second, a platform from which they may throw thunderbolts of sanctimonious accusation at anyone who disagrees with any part of Obama's platform. You don't need to win an argument with fact if you can invalidate your opponent with an ad hominem charge of racism every time.

We're going to get a lot of this, most of it from white liberals. As if they needed anything more to make them stupid...

It is precisely for that reason that McCain should nominate a black conservative for VP
I disagree. He needs a conservative, it is true, but I think she should be female. McCain could choose Al Sharpton, and he still wouldn't get 10% of the black vote. However, there are a lot of soft-headed white moderates who want to cast a "historic" vote, so in years to come they can brag to their grandchildren about how caring and open-minded they were. We give them a lady to vote in as VP, and we pick up a lot of votes.
I don't disagree with your analysis, as far as it goes - but I would be leery of that play. Only because of the title point of this article - people wanting to feel good about themselves for voting for a black. I think that choosing a woman would reek of picking up where Hillary left off, and it would leave Obama standing as a "magic negro" who is above criticism because of his race.

Whereas the nomination of a conservative black would be a rebuke to all the over-the-top things like what it took for Michelle to have pride in America and Reverend Wright cursing most of the voters in the country. And at least the election/inauguration of the first black VP would make a better story for the country than reports of Sharpton riots concomitant with the election of a white ticket defeating a black one.

Maybe referring to his take on the Sermon on the (other) Mount?

What/whose votes will be won by McCain putting a black conservative on the ticket?
Not blacks; I would never pretend otherwise.

Why is it that not a single reporter has ever asked Obama where he stands on reparations?

nail on the head

the Obama voters I have come across have all been the snobby , elitist, stuck up, arrogant clueless types.

Ask them about Obama they say change, ask what change is they don’t know
Ask them about the wright issue, the weather underground issue, the slumland lord issue, the anti American church he went to,
Ask them abouyt his racist wife and his racist comments like typical white people, greedy white folk etc and guess what?

They try to talk over you, they get angry, they basically put their fingers in their ears and shout la la la.

If this country has ever made a most clueless set of supporters then this is them.

Not one Obama voter I have met has any idea about this man, yet they will vote for him.

also nothing sticks as the media make excuses for him, or even don’t cover the issue at hand.

Makes me sick

One liberal who is supposed to be into politics said she had never heard about Obama and his terrorist friend , in-fact she thought it was all made up and wanted to know why she had never heard about it.

When asked who she watched she replied that she watched MSNBC and CNN

says a lot about those net works

I know what this guy means.

It was easy to turn Al Gore into a crazy Tree.

It was easy to amplifiy the Frenchiness of Jean Kerry.

But this Obama guy with his liberal voting record, his crazy pastor, his angry wife, nothing sticks to him. It’s unreal.

Interesting reason why people support Obama...

The same reason people buy a Prius or give money to PBS.
