In 19th-century Scotland, a young mother observed her 3-year-old son’s inquisitive nature. It seemed he was curious about everything that moved or made a noise. James Clerk Maxwell would carry his boyhood wonder with him into a remarkable career in science. He went on to do groundbreaking work in electricity and magnetism. Years later, Albert Einstein would say of Maxwell’s work that it was “the most fruitful that physics has experienced since the time of Newton.”
From early childhood, religion touched all aspects of Maxwell’s life. As a committed Christian, he prayed: “Teach us to study the works of Thy hands . . . and strengthen our reason for Thy service.” The boyhood cultivation of Maxwell’s spiritual life and curiosity resulted in a lifetime of using science in service to the Creator.
The community of faith has always had the responsibility to nurture the talent of the younger generation and to orient their lives to the Lord, “that they may arise and declare [God’s law] to their children, that they may set their hope in God” (Ps. 78:6-7).
Finding ways to encourage children’s love for learning while establishing them in the faith is an important investment in the future.

Jacob must have shuddered at the thought of leaving the land of his
father’s sojourning, and dwelling among heathen strangers. It was a new
scene, and likely to be a trying one: who shall venture among couriers of
a foreign monarch without anxiety? Yet the way was evidently appointed for
him, and therefore he resolved to go. This is frequently the position of
believers now-they are called to perils and temptations altogether
untried: at such seasons let them imitate Jacob’s example by offering
sacrifices of prayer unto God, and seeking his direction; let them not
take a step until they have waited upon the Lord for his blessing: then
they will have Jacob’s companion to be their friend and helper. How
blessed to feel assured that the Lord is with us in all our ways, and
condescends to go down into our humiliations and banishments with us! Even
beyond the ocean our Father’s love beams like the sun in its strength. We
cannot hesitate to go where Jehovah promises his presence; even the valley
of deathshade grows bright with the radiance of this assurance. Marching
onwards with faith in their God, believers shall have Jacob’s promise.
They shall be brought up again, whether it be from the troubles of life or
the chambers of death. Jacob’s seed came out of Egypt in due time, and so
shall all the faithful pass unscathed through the tribulation of life, and
the terror of death. Let us exercise Jacob’s confidence. “Fear not,” is
the Lord’s command and his divine encouragement to those who at his
bidding are launching upon new seas; the divine presence and preservation
forbid so much as one unbelieving fear.
Without our God we should fear to move; but when he bids us to, it would
be dangerous to tarry.

Accept our thankful praise for the beautiful and meaningful wedding of the President's daughter, Jenna, to Henry Hager. Thank You for helping them to conduct a ceremony that focused on You, that was bathed in respect and reverence. We exalt You for Your protection of them and for Your establishing them in the love of Jesus Christ as they begin their married life together. To You be all praise and glory, honor and blessing. If Rush was Commander-in-chief, we would be in much better shape.
We are losing control of this country, not because of one man, but because of US. We have listened to too many promises without fighting to make sure that those promises are followed through.
We have allowed this government to rule, not only our birth to death lives, but our daily lives. We seem to only live to submit to the onslaught of unending laws from people who are not burdened by them.
We need no government handouts of OUR OWN MONEY. We need TAXES REMOVED from everything from utilities to used cars.
I’ll say it again, maybe some think that Algore would have been a better President. I don’t. He would have done nothing against terrorists, just as his mentor, Bill Clinton. Ditto for the anti-war faux patriot, Skerry.

Not me. We made the best of a VERY BAD CHOICE - just like we are facing now - ONCE AGAIN. ONCE AGAIN the Republican Party has betrayed its core constituency.

I disagree. He may have been better than the other two, and he may have acted against the Islmaic militant terrorists in the Middle East, but he has betrayed us on the borders. He has conspired with the Fox and Caulderone regimes to betray our borders and our national security by not doing what he took an oath to do - enforce the laws of the Federal Government including those on the books regarding illegal invaders. He has conspired with Mexican government against the rights of American citizens, sworn peace officers trying to protect us against drug smuggling invaders (Border guards Ramos and Compean - sitting in solitary confinement because they tried protecting US).
He continues to conspire with international globalists attempting to make a fortune by compromising our economy, the lives of Americans and our national sovereignty.

True in part, but the “greed” is mainly on the part of corporate interests who have conspired to remove American Jobs to third world rat holes, help build up the Red Chinese economy (and military), and erode our native American job base by importing hordes of illegal aliens.
Don't let the Bushes fool you. They are not “compassionate” conservatives. They are a passelful of northeastern liberal globalists along the lines of Nelson Rockefeller, Tom Kean Jr. and Jacob Javits. We will all be better off when we get another Ronald Reagan type, AMERICA FIRST President in the Oval Office - if we can ever find one. Duncan Hunter was such a man.

He quit because he didn;t have enough money and the media deliberately ignored him as much as possible in the debates.
He didn’t have enough money because he attacked our trade policies with Communist Red China - and that upset a lot of big rollers - the globalists who fund people like Bush, McCain, Obama, and Hillary.
The media ignored him because he was right on the issues and they were afraid people would listen to him instead of the McManiac.
