LITTLE ROCK - It’s a happy Mother’s Day for an Arkansas woman — she’s pregnant with her 18th child.
Michelle Duggar, 41, is due on New Year’s Day, and the latest addition will join seven sisters and 10 brothers. There are two sets of twins.
"We’ve had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us," she said, laughing.

Maybe they just don’t believe in contraception or natural family planning.
My wife and I could have stopped at 2 kids. But then we’d never have had our third. Would life be better without our third child? Would we have preferred that she never exist? The answer is “no.” I’m grateful for the life of each of my kids.
Wasn’t saying it’s a bad thing... I just saw what my wife went through, and it nearly killed her on the 3rd one!
I believe abortion is the focal point of the good vs evil, God vs Satan battle on earth.
No other issue captures the quintessential “liberal” values, either.
Abortion involves the MOST innocent human (ie, a being made in God’s image), paying WITH ITS VERY LIFE, for the often frivolous sexual behavior choices of the irresponsible.
Wow, how do they do it. We have friends with two and three who are into everything, both work full time, all kids have hobbies, they are involved in every community event, and still keep it together. We watch them and just shake our head, we can’t be half that normal with no kids. I can’t see how they do it (especially after seeing their website and seeing how ‘perfect’ their home and family appear.) I would have expected chaos. Pleasantly surprised.

But seriously, folks.
In Utah, there are a bunch of inns run by people who would add rooms to their house whenever they had more children. But all too soon, the oldest ones move out, and they are left with a lot of extra rooms. Interesting architecture, to say the least.
We’ve looked into it! Actually, we need more money for it than we have but we keep praying about it and if God provides, we are more than willing to take!
Agreed, I watched the TV show and what an impressive family.
These children are going to grow to be great parents themselves and great citizens of this country. This family has been blessed by God because they are guided by God.

I see where you are coming from. I haven’t seen the films so I can’t say anything.
Well my screen became blurry with that story.....I get tired of the blaming the single moms of the world for kid problems..... I happen to know a few single moms that are raising great kids.....
That’s 13.5 years pregnant.
Some people do prefer a man’s rectum, of course.
My birthdate is right after the New Year so my Dad used to joke I was an “April Fool’s Baby”

You know, there are not too many things like LOVE. It is one of the few things that the more you give it away - the more it GROWS.
I say if they can afford them, more power to them. God bless them all.
Wasn’t implying you were, but there’s so many out there who act like pregnancy as a disease.
Sometimes things do go wrong, but I’m glad your wife made it through. Three is a good solid number. =-)
You might get involved in your local crisis pregnancy center. God may provide through that channel.
