“Mondale tried that tactic. We know how well that Ill be honest - I am going to tell you now that I will raise your taxes idea worked.”
But Mondale was running against a much better man than Hussein is.

I am very serious. I think Laura Ingraham played the sound bite. I listen to a lot of talk shows when I can that after a while, it blends in. It had better come out in the campaign.

Would McCain appoint or vote for such a raving left wing lunatic? I sure hope not. He says he won't but I don't trust him. I guess I'm shell shocked and I have a hard time believing any of them these days!
That being said, we have a 50 - 50 chance of McCain appointing conservative to moderate SC Judges. With Hillary and Obama, they will be clones of Ginsberg, or worse. I will crawl across broken glass to vote against Hillary and Obama, and if that means I have to hold my nose and vote for McCain, then so be it.
To be perfectly honest, I'm more afraid of Obama's wife than I am of Hillary! That woman is a skank from Hell.

To seek that goal I will not develop new nuclear weapons.

It was 96-3 with one not voting, Smith, Nickles and Helms. Which of those three do you support?

No because as a senator if he loses McCain will vote for Obama's picks as a courtesy to the president, as President he will not vote he will select.
If Obama is elected you will get 9 Ruth Bader Ginzburgs. If McCain is elected you will get Roberts. Sorry if you'd rather play mental games than deal with reality.

Obama’s positions are right out of Rev Wright’s sermons. Our nuclear weapons are evil, we need to talk to Iran, etc. It’s obvious.

What we need is a government that respects the sovereignty of the individuals who earn money and their rights to use it and their property as they see fit... Funny, that's kind of what the U S Constitution says. Too bad so few people believe in it anymore.
If he's going to raise taxes on those earning more than $100k, I wonder if that will include athletes and Hollywood stars. Would they continue to support him?

I understand your point of view.
McCain can be confusing.
So, I have to view McCain through the prism of what he actually has done in regards to judges, and this judge, Ruth Ginsburg, late of the ACLU, is one that received his YES vote in the Senate to confirm.
