The logical flaw in the conclusion here, is that gun owners voted for her because they have been duped into believing she supports the 2nd amendment with all that attends that right.
It is as equally feasible that they supported her as the lesser of two evils, gun rights notwithstanding.

That's all well and good but I wonder how those stats will break in the general election? Of course a few RATS will still vote the RAT candidate on liberal principle, but I'll bet their "gun" is a rusty product lying unseen at the bottom of a storage cabinet. No "real" gun owner who actually cherishes the 2nd Amendment could ever vote the RAT position in a general election. Witness what happend to Gore in 2000: He lost Tennessee, his "home" state on the gun issue. He lost West-by-God-Virginia where the first day of deer season is a school holiday and it's a state that hasn't gone republican in years. A win in either of those two would have put Gore in the White House. But he lost when the NRA went into high gear and Bill Clinton admitted as much.
