Oxymoron ALERT!
I'll bet she's one of those people who loves to spout the numbers of war dead...
But this is just fine.
Happy Mother’s Day, I aborted your grandchild!
Ms. Richards worked as deputy chief of staff for Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi
She created and directed a national pro-choice ID project for the Turner Foundation
During the political ascendancy of the religious right in the 1990s, Ms. Richards formed the Texas Freedom Network (TFN) to combat the anti-choice, radical policy agenda of the extreme right in Texas. The work of TFN has been featured in the Washington Post, New York Times, Mother Jones, and other national publications.
Ms. Richards began her career organizing low-wage garment workers on the Rio Grande border. Her years as a union organizer included directing the "Justice for Janitors" campaign in Los Angeles, CA
She served as a guest speaker to the European Union on the issue of religious fundamentalism
She is married to Kirk Adams, a labor organizer with the Service Employees International Union, and has three teenage children. She lives in New York City.
When husband Kirk took a job as organizing director for the AFL-CIO in Washington, Cecile moved with her family in 1998 and took a job at the Turner Foundation for media mogul and abortion propagandist Ted Turner. Her job, Richards told TM, was "to help build the infrastructure of the choice movement in America." In that job, TM says, Richards "worked closely with organizations like Planned Parenthood and distributed grant money around the country."
“I enjoy my irony, but not that much.”

Aren’t these the same people who protest outside of prisons where an execution is taking place??? Murder the baby but save the criminal .....
Cecile Richards, 48, is a former union and political organizer, liberal watchdog over the social conservative movement and now president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
“One thing she always taught me,” Richards said of her mother, “is you just can’t be afraid of failing. You have got to take risks.”
Richards’ political genes also come from her father, David Richards, a labor and civil rights attorney in Texas.
she organized nursing home employees in East Texas and hotel workers in New Orleans, where she met her husband, Kirk Adams, then a fellow union organizer.
Richards also became founder and president of America Votes, a coalition of more than 30 national groups that spent about $350 million during the 2004 presidential campaign.
However, Richards is concerned about the efforts by abortion opponents.
Richards is bracing for the fight.
“The extent to which we have been dragged into politics is the extent we need to keep access available for women and teens who are looking for services,” she said.
CECILE RICHARDS, the new and instantly embattled president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, would like those retro “folks” her word intent on knocking her organization, and the entire abortion rights movement, off the map to know she takes after her maternal grandmother.
“I think it’s going to be extremely hard for the average American to realize now that these people are talking about criminalizing abortion,” she sputters. “The folks who spend every day trying to put Planned Parenthood out of business are very political, very conservative, and they have an unbelievably sympathetic president and administration in Washington. Maybe it will be a bit of a wake-up call to everybody else in this country is this a right that women have, or is this a right that politicians can take away?”
In her previous jobs as president of America Votes, a coalition of 30 liberal-leaning national organizations that spent $350 million on political activities in 2004, co-founder of America Coming Together, a political action committee created to challenge the Bush administration, and president of Pro-Choice Vote during the 2000 election cycle, she pushed for a different electoral result. America Votes survived the 2004 election, she says, but its candidates did not: “Operation Successful, Patient Died.”
“Richards said passing on her pro-abortion mantra to her daughter Hannah and her younger children Lily and Daniel is “the best gift any mother can give her children.”
The derangement of the left is breathtaking.
No, Madaam, the best gift any mother can give her children is LIFE and LOVE.
PPFA is the Culture of Death.
These beasts truly have diseased souls...if they still have their souls.
NASTY SKANK.
"Pooooooorrrr Cecile". She can't hep it. She was born with a defective gene that affects her brain."
While I agree with Ms. Stanek, I would have gone further to say that Richards and all those like her are psychologically and emotionally vacant. There is none of either trait in them.
These people are mentally ill.
Agreed. It takes a truly low and sick person to dishonor Mother’s Day with something this vile.
Anti-Mothers Day.
From Ann Richards’ daughter.
This disgusting act, unfortunately, does not surprise me.
They kill babies. What can we expect from them?
