Mark Penn might not be appearing before the cameras on Hillary's behalf nowadays, but bet that he is beavering away behind the scenes on his polling. And judging from Hillary's dogged [to mix an animal metaphor] performance on this morning's Today, it's obvious that Penn's turned up one big thing: Dem primary voters hate oil companies.
Meredith Vieira gamely tried to get Clinton onto other subjects during her interview. But no matter the question, the answer was almost invariably the same: I Hate Big Oil. Since the questions were irrelevant, let's dispense with them and simply count the ways in which Hillary expressed her wrath at those evil purveyors of oil.

Thanks for watching/reporting, Mark.
We need a Windbag Profits Tax. Anytime any windbag politician/socialist attacks any legitimate corporation they should have to resign their position and go to work sweeping floors at said corporation. Get some useful work from these idiots.
Yes, big oil is just horrified at the cost of petroleum to Americans. Why, they are constantly on their soapboxes villifying American politicians for not calling for more refinereys, drilling and nuclear power plants, even though they are the target of us unwashed as evil.
(in reality I don't think they have a problem being labeled 'evil' and are just as fine with the status quo. Please, no lectures on capitalism and economics---heard it all before.)
Lecture you? Why do that? My kook, conspriacy theorist uncle believes it too. I don’t try to lecture him either.
She sees it as a two-fer ... she can bash the oil companies and Bush/Cheney at the same time
Yeah, what I can’t figure out is how a windfall profits tax would lower the price of gasoline.
What year Hillary? Certainly not with this President or most of Congress not willing to take up the issue! Why won't the voters wake up to this fraud?
