I'm puzzled. I just looked up the movie, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed", on Netflix. It was classified as "Availability unknown", but it also has a rating of 3.4 out of 5 stars, based on opinions of 383 people who viewed the film. Has this been pulled by Netflix? Did someone get an injunction against it or something? How can over 300 people have viewed it and rated it, yet the movie is not currently available? Seems fishy to me. Anyone know what the deal is here?
Isn’t it still in theaters?
They renamed it...
“Expelled: No Rentals Allowed”
I'm still waiting on John Adams.
If it’s still in theaters, it usually shouldn’t be on DVD yet.
It will be on netflix eventually! It just came out in theaters. Try and find it at a movie theater near you. You will be thrilled to experience it with all of the other believers who stand up at the end and give it a standing ovation.
Try mousing over the stars to see if you can rate it .
That's what happens when the DVD isn't out yet, and won't be for months.
I want to go see it. But I was wondering if it’s kid friendly. Would my 11 and 9 year old enjoy it or would they be bored?
It played only one week in my town. Unbelievable! I saw it alone...very very good! I had additional people I wanted to take to see it and was shocked to see it was already pulled.
Makes perfect sense; if it’s still in theaters, makes sense that Netflix or Blockbuster wouldn’t have it yet. That’s the way it works. But how did 300-plus people rate it already?
It’s a big conspiracy!!!!!11!!
Wow, am I dumb! I had no idea you could mouse over the stars, and rate the movie right there. That ‘splains it! Thanks.
You can rate a movie on Netflix without having rented it from them. The people giving the ratings have either seen it in the movie theaters or are rating it without having seen it at all.
Uh...........may be less a conspiracy, and more a calcification of my neural receptors. Conspiracy sounds like more fun, though.
Maybe they’ve rented out both copies...
People have rated the movie based on seeing it in the movie theaters.
It just opened in theaters. It won’t be out on DVD for a while.
That’s what I learned just this night. Had I learned it twenty minutes sooner, we could all be on a different thread right now.
