Islamist Chickens Roosting in America’s Backyard
PajamasMedia ^ | 5/4/08 | Youssef M. Ibrahim

In the very real war on terror, a nosy squabble over “fighting them there so we don’t have to fight them here” clouds a simple truth: namely, that “they” are here already. Indeed, Islamists are busy constructing a wing of jihad in America’s backyard.

A potential audience of one million Arab-speaking cable subscribers of Time Warner in the greater New York area can feast on the Arabic Channel known as TAC to choose a menu that includes:

A daily dose of Islamic jurisprudence from a sheik — most often Egyptian Amr Khaled, who wears a suit instead of a robe, advocating “peaceful jihad.” He opines on how it is the duty of Arab-Americans to become first, second, and always members of the Muslim ummah. The softness of his jihad-chic demeanor belies its exclusionary message: segregation of Arab-American Muslims from fellow Americans.

TAC also serves a nightly diet of Syrian TV News, direct from Damascus with Syria’s view of the world. In this diatribe of analysis and disinformation, Iraq is an American butchery, the Zionist regime of Israel is destined for obliteration, and Syria is the greatest gift to the “Arab cause.”

For entertainment there is a sprinkling of pseudo-historic soap operas about the old Muslim empire of Europe. In Ramadan, the month-long fasting period, this proselytizing is revved up to new levels of intensity, removing footage of belly dancing and other “infidel” joys from the steady fare of old Egyptian movies.

Springtime in Islamberg

Radical Muslim paramilitary compound flourishes in upper New York state

Islamberg is not as benign as a Buddhist monastery or a Carmelite convent. Nearly every weekend, neighbors hear sounds of gunfire. Some, including a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, have heard the bang of small explosives. None of the neighbors wished to be identified for fear of “retaliation.” “We don’t even dare to slow down when we drive by,” one resident said. “They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can’t even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?”

“removing of belly dancing”—
let me tell you, I have been thinking of this exact
subject for a long time, and have come to the conclusion
that belly dancing is the ONLY thing of value the Middle East or Arab world has EVER given us.

I use Arabic numerals when figuring terrorist body counts. Some of the food is pretty good. I think they invented sand, which is annoying but useful.

Yep. All true. Yet we do nothing while the 5th column is in our backyard. Why cant we deport them? Oh right! They have rights. McCain/Kennedy would give them a “path to citizenship”. Don’t expect Captain Queeg to do anything if he gets elected. Hillary has probably already promised them pardons, and Hussein Obama is a member!

The fun really starts when the M13 Aztlanos take over Spanish language broadcasting.

Oh wow! really? I think not. A couple points:

First of all, “Belly dancing” goes back long before the Muslims ever appeared on the planet...to the ancient Greeks Persians, etc.

Second, women who danced the erotic “belly dance” for their muslims masters in the Muslim era were usually slaves of Christian background.

Reading your tagline really moved me, USMCPOP.

Please know how much we appreciate your son’s, and your sacrifice for our country.

Too few realize that Muslims enslaved Europeans in as great if not greater numbers than Africans. Good that you brought it up.

It has nothing to do with the continent or ethnicity of the slave. If you are a Christian you are fair game. For Mohameddans it has always been so and the goals have not changed.

First of all Eleni, that judgement was tongue in cheek.
I am only referring to the classic belly dancing as presented in the West, like from Elaine “Little” Egypt,
and numerous others, like the ones who used to perform at
The Red Fez in Chicago in the mid and late 60s to the accompaniment of bouzuki and dumbeg music, and that was when I was
barely old enough to be allowed in. That dancing remains for me the sexiest thing I have ever seen. And what a far cry from the homicidal sexual hangups and frustrations exhibited by most of the Islamic/Arab cultures of modern times, which we’ve only been too well acquainted with since 9-11. Don’t bother correcting my “misconceptions” about Islamic-fundi or the tortured Arab mindset. I have no misconceptions about it.

Well, the modern thoroughbred owes its male pedigree to Arabian stallions, going back nearly 400 years.
And sadly, though they are idiots, and have no “horse sense” , but only money, lots of petrodollars with which to “buy dreams”, the Arabs involved in modern horseracing love to throw millions down the drain, spending more for a yearling than he could probably ever earn or make from stud fees, with the notion that they might hit the big time about 10% of the time and feel like “geniuses”. I guess our breeders can’t resist their surplus $$.

correction: now that I think of it, it was Lorraine Egypt, not Elaine. NOthwithstanding its terrible origins, belly dancing is a wonderful spectacle.

Heh, I’d rather see them pizzle away that money on some horse than into jihad. Double the laffs if they spend ten million dollars on a dud.
