Rioting lesbians have stormed a speech by "Born Gay Hoax" author Ryan Sorba on the campus of Smith College in Massachusetts, shutting down his address, according to two major pro-family organizations, Americans for Truth and Mass Resistance.
"Beware lesbians with frying pans (if you care about free speech)," AFT said in his announcement. "Lesbian activists at Smith College just couldn't stand by and let a young critic explain his views about the supposed innateness of homosexuality so they stormed Ryan Sorba's speech on the 'Born Gay Hoax' and forced him to end it prematurely."
"Thus they decided for everyone in the room supporters, foes, the curious and the undecided whether Sorba's arguments would be heard. Stalin would be proud," said AFT's Peter LaBarbera.
"Brian Camenker, Amy Contrada and the dedicated folks at MassResistance.org have captured the totalitarian episode on film for the world to see. Kudos to MassResistance for once again chronicling the anti-democratic antics of the 'gay' Left for the record. It is absolutely shameful that Smith College and Massachusetts authorities would allow Sorbas First Amendment rights to be neutralized in of all places the academy, which is supposed to be a place where opposing ideas can be debated freely," he said.
President Carol Christ noted in a memo "to the Smith Community" after the attack that "on a pragmatic level, after about 10 minutes the speaker could not be heard" and suggested a strategy to defeat such statements that homosexuality is not innate.
"When faced with the visit of a controversial speaker, our challenge as a community is to reaffirm our commitment to teaching and learning. Hearing the views of someone with whom you disagree affords the opportunity to sharpen one's own counterarguments, displaying the weaknesses in their reasoning or evidence," she wrote.

My example is the best friend of a friend of mine. A New Yorker, lived an incredibly licentious gay lifestyle for about five years at all the New York bathhouses, was extremely lucky to have opted out before AIDS became rampant in the gay community by the late 1980s, and today is a 52-year old with two children. I don't think his wife or children know about his lifestyle back then.
Dennis Prager has documented that homosexuality, at least amongst men, increases significantly when society's morals drop. The reason is that men will switch over if the sex becomes easy and there is no more disapproval.
Yes, that is true, Therefore, if any man (or woman) be in Christ, He (or she) is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Back when they identified themselves as
“sexual preferences” one of my sons said, “If it is a peference, why ddon’t they make a better choice?”
As I see in Romans “God gave them up unto these thing “ because they refuse to receive God’s provision for their choices.
Ryan Surely had to be telling the truth to provoke this kind of reaction- Way to Go Ryan-Stand Up Guy (I know him)!
No one is born that way, they are merely trapped in that lifestyle by choice (their own or an evil person’s molestation/abuse of their body and or minds)!
They may also be entrapped demonically in this lifestyle-in WHICH case they ALL need Jesus-the Savior and only way to know God, and true freedom from this perversion!~
Tolerance is “You must accept our lifestyle decisions, not matter how deviant, or depraved, as a normal part of the human condition. Any criticism, however slight is to be treated as a depraved attack upon our god-given right to do what we want, when we want, regardless of the effects on those around us.,
——If people are born gay that would mean that there is a gay gene that has yet to be identified. Should this ever be identified, would gays really want that information to be let out given pre-natal testing and the easy availability of abortion services?——
Especially since President Bush signed into law the Newborn Genetic Screening bill.

Its Ryan Sorba, and I’m sure he wouldn’t want you calling him Surely. ;o)
I've seen and argued with prominent FR posters when they championed using the same technique the lesbians used.
At 8 p.m. tonight, at the Academy of Music, Smith is offering a free public screening of Freeheld, the Oscar-winning documentary by Cynthia Wade '89 that chronicles a lesbian couple's struggle for legal and property rights. It stands in contrast to Mr. Sorba's views of a "born-gay hoax" and both perspectives, whether one finds them compelling or offensive, fall within Smith's commitment to free expression of ideas and values.
So, we didn't allow one side to be heard, but we'll be sure to make the other side available as well. As if the "other side" (pro-gay) isn't being taught at the college already.
P.S. How much of a "struggle" could there be? Power of attorney and a written will would pretty much cover it all.
TE, your line reminds me of this one:
“Were you born after 1973? You’re lucky to be a Death Roe survivor!”
I'm JUST sick enough to wish I'd seen this event!
(And, yes, I should be ashamed of that...but I'm not!)
Here’s the link to the video. This is a must see!

The Gaystapo strikes again.
Actually, I think we’re all born sinners.
I got in a debate with some liberal friends tonight and one said that I need to be more “open” to other views. I didn’t back down. I promptly said that “open” doesn’t mean agreeing with them, it means listening to their arguments and still being free to say that they are BS before proceeding to completely refute them. They had a hard time with this concept.
This could be like an SAT question or something:
QUESTION: “If the all the lesbians rioted at Smith College, who did not riot at Smith College?”
If I saw a herd of lesbians running towards me at full tilt I’d run the other way licket-D-split.
That’s a good one. I have never heard that before.
