ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - FBI agents on Wednesday busted 10 people they termed "special interest illegal aliens" for allegedly trying to use fraudulent documents to get New Mexico drivers licenses.
A Motor Vehicle Division employee alerted police several weeks ago about what the employee believed to be a fraudulent attempt to get a license, according to an FBI news release.
Albuquerque police called the FBI, which worked with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to investigate the incident.
The investigation showed that several New Mexico residents had allegedly been fabricating proof of residence documents to allow people from out of the country to obtain authentic licenses.
The FBI said the New Mexico residents were themselves illegal immigrants.
While the FBI isn't saying which countries the 10 came from, the news release said "certain countries are associated with special national security concerns," and that using the term "special interest alien" depends on which a given person is from.
According to the news release, investigators are still working on the investigation, and believe that dozens of "special interest illegal aliens" may have obtained New Mexico licensees using fraudulent documents.

But he is tough on terror, they say. The only ones I know that he is tough on are Conservatives.
I am not going to vote for him.

Exactly. All illegal aliens have committed a crime. Yet Hillary, along with Obama and McCain, voted against the Cornyn amendment which would have barred terrorists and gang members from this country.

I'd like to see McCain do something, anything such as naming a solid conservative VP or sincerely apologizing for his role in amnesty or McCain-Feingold which would make me want to vote for him.
But if the election were held today, I couldn't even vote for him while holding my nose. They don't make poles long enough either.

That's a given. And add identity theft or falsification of official documents, mail fraud, several violations of the RICCO Act, tax fraud and one that a New Hampshire deputy sheriff charged....Trespassing. You logic is correct but never use the subjunctive mood in a conclusion. Welcome aboard, FORTRUTHONLY.
I was not aware that FR forum came with free grammar lessons. I am not as worried about my spelling/grammar abilities since English IS my second language and I fluently speak a total of 6 others but alas, thanks for the welcoming wagon :)

Once again we're proven the slim pickings for this year's elections.

That's not a grammar lesson, it's a lesson in sentential logic. Logical conclusions never contain 'should', 'could', 'would'; it would make them assumptions rather than conclusions.
Don't take offense by this, your argument was sound but using subjunctive mood in the conclusion weakened it.
Therefore, I am glad to meet you.

The word “trespassing”, as used by the poster, is not a subjunctive. Trespassing can also be a noun, meaning transgression, and it was correctly used.
Welcome aboard, FORTRUTHONLY. Your logic, grammar (and manners) are impeccable.

Ok, just re-read the posts and saw that you were not referring to the word trespassing; that was your word. Sorry.
I think we all should be glad to have another clear-thinking FR member whose posts add to substantive content
