ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - FBI agents on Wednesday busted 10 people they termed "special interest illegal aliens" for allegedly trying to use fraudulent documents to get New Mexico drivers licenses.
A Motor Vehicle Division employee alerted police several weeks ago about what the employee believed to be a fraudulent attempt to get a license, according to an FBI news release.
Albuquerque police called the FBI, which worked with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to investigate the incident.
The investigation showed that several New Mexico residents had allegedly been fabricating proof of residence documents to allow people from out of the country to obtain authentic licenses.
The FBI said the New Mexico residents were themselves illegal immigrants.
While the FBI isn't saying which countries the 10 came from, the news release said "certain countries are associated with special national security concerns," and that using the term "special interest alien" depends on which a given person is from.
According to the news release, investigators are still working on the investigation, and believe that dozens of "special interest illegal aliens" may have obtained New Mexico licensees using fraudulent documents.

Isn’t that special?
I’m sure that Gov. Bill Richardson is too busy campaigning to be Obama’s Mexican sidekick to be concerned with terrorists being given phony residents addresses by illegal aliens in NM. What a disaster.
lol...I was just thinking about him..
Named as such so as to not offend them.
For those of you who don’t completely understand the term “special interest” illegal aliens, it refers to OTMs (Other Than Mexicans) from countries of terrorism concern—either state sponsors of terror like Iran, Syria Sudan—or countries that seem to breed a lot of terrorists, like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Abdullah, moe-ham-head,achmed, etc.
Good hispanic names, all.
More of the same (see the last line!):
Additional Fraud Charges Filed Against Couple

[snip.Last month, detectives searched the Rivieras’ home at 19612 Owensboro Road in Trilby and seized documents with other people’s personal information, including birth dates, tax and vehicle identification numbers, credit card numbers and a fraudulent U.S. Department of Justice seal, reports state.
When the OTMs smuggle a WMD across our southern border, if they haven’t already, and set it off in a major city and kill thousands of US citizens, I bet that fence gets built in six months, just like Rep. Duncan Hunter suggested.
I would bet the number is in the thousands, not dozens, Jerkoff and jorge are doing such a good job protecting the country.
Some More “Special Interest” Countries: Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Cuba, Brazil, Ecuador, China, Russia, Yemen, Albania, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan
New Mexico is one of the states that issues driver’s licenses to illegal aliens (excuse me, undocumented immigrants), very few questions asked. As of last count, about 35,000 have been issued. We have the stupid NM voters to thank for voting Richardson into office and he promptly let all his buddies south of the border come here to get their “US” papers.
Ping!
You logic is correct but never use the subjunctive mood in a conclusion.
Welcome aboard, FORTRUTHONLY.
A few down....millions to go.
These are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:
Never forget McCain not only pushed the amnesty bill, he refused to allow exclusions for the worst of the lot.
All 30 million are special interest.
