I think he's, as I say, very much wants to get away from any sense that he's a creature or a captive of the left. That was very clear throughout his, more than a half-hour that we sat down and talked to him.

Sorry Barack Hussein Obama...that do won't hunt. Your own associations make the truth clear.

Communist Party Members, Marxists, Communist Leaders, Marxist Leaders, Communist Party USA

BHO has a long way to go before he reaches “the center”. In fact, he'll never come close.

Unless of course we are referring to the media's idea of the political center — that “center” accepts (indeed demands) redistribution of wealth and repressive regulations as ordinary functions of government.

Did anyone catch the drift from Obama regarding the question of whether or not he will accept public money for his campaign in the general election? He said he would if he and McCain came to an understanding that ads from organizations like the swift boat vets and the RNC be prohibited. Did I hear a call for censorship in the election or is it just me?

Wallace dispensed of the Ayers Question on Obama's terms. The word unrepentant was never spoken.

The wife is watching this “interview” as I type this. What a load of crap! Did BHO give a list of questions to be asked beforehand? Or is Chris Wallace just that much of a weenie?

Just one thing about both Wallace and Obama. Everybody wants to be their friend. Both seem to be very decent, even nice.

Obama, though, runs with a rough crowd ~ folks who'd turn America into a Gulag where they'd butcher the meek, the innocent, those weeking a better future.

If Obama had only taken in Newt Gingrich as his principle advisor he could have been the next President.

I seem to remember Chris Wallace chiding the “Fox and Friends” cast about their tough coverage of Jeremiah Wright. Chris is as liberal as his old man is.

I e-mailed Chris Wallace with the following topic to present to Obama. Chris whimped out:

In 1995 Obama stated: "These are mean, cruel times, exemplified by a 'lock 'em up, take no prisoners' mentality that dominates the Republican-led Congress" and "that white Americans couldn't care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing." See http://www.chicagoreader.com/features/stories/archive/barackobama/

Here is the an extended portion of the article containing the quote:

"This doesn't suggest that the need to look inward emphasized by the march isn't important, and that these African-American tribal affinities aren't legitimate. These are mean, cruel times, exemplified by a 'lock 'em up, take no prisoners' mentality that dominates the Republican-led Congress. Historically, African-Americans have turned inward and towards black nationalism whenever they have a sense, as we do now, that the mainstream has rebuffed us, and that white Americans couldn't care less about the profound problems African-Americans are facing."

"But cursing out white folks is not going to get the job done. Anti-Semitic and anti-Asian statements are not going to lift us up. We've got some hard nuts-and-bolts organizing and planning to do. We've got communities to build."

[end of excerpt]

Obama not only made a racial generalization, but the generalization imputes evil to the targets of the generalization. It would be evil for any American, white or otherwise to not care about problems facing African-Americans. Obama's statement is 100% racist. He needs to be confronted with this statement. Nobody has done so. I cannot read Obama's mind. I don't know if he is a racist. But I cannot explain how such a statement can come from the mouth of a non-racist. I am shocked that Obama is allowed to get away with this. I cannot recall another instance of a candidate for a major office getting away with a statement as blatently wrong as this. I am truly shocked by this.

Should have had Brit Hume, Hugh Hewitt or Mike Rosen asking the questions. Wallace is an intellectual lightweight.
