This is an absolutely blatant attempt to rewrite history by Barack Obama, documented at ABC News Political Punch.

First, I honestly don’t care much whether a person wears a flag pin, and you can certainly be a patriot without wearing a badge proclaiming it. The issue for me: Obama’s reasons for taking off that pin.

First, I honestly don’t care much whether a person wears a flag pin, and you can certainly be a patriot without wearing a badge proclaiming it.

The hunting ground for reasons that Obama would be a disaster as President is such a target-rich environment that there is no need to look for issues such as wearing a flag pin.

The use of the American flag as an advertising tool or public relations prop has always left a bad taste in my mouth.

When I see a HUGE American flag fluttering on a skyscraping flag pole a quarter mile down the road, I immediately think "Used Car Dealership".

When I see a flag pin on the lapel of someone in a suit, I immediately think "Politician or TV Talking Head".

Lets cut through all the bull malarkey and point out just how incomprehensible Obama's explanation is for not wearing the American flag lapel pin. What I've done below is to use Obama's own words and reasoning for not wearing his flag pin and applied it to something else with some symbolic significance, his wedding ring.

 

What follows is an AP article dating back to October 4, 2007. I quoted the original article (in black) followed by my edited version. The edits are in italics. You can make up your own mind as to whether it makes for sound reasoning or not. But I must say, if any married man were to apply the Obama philosophy for not wearing a flag pin to his own marriage I assure you it wouldn't pass the "fidelity" test. Enjoy!

God forgive me.....but maybe our only hope is that McCain gets a young, committed conservative to be his VP....and in a couple of months, before he can do much damage, McCain's age along with old maladies will catch up with him and the Lord takes him home.

I can't see any other short term salvation from socialism for the U.S. other than a "knight on a white horse" comes riding in.....and the welfare class somehow forgets what day we are voting....

I thank Obama for doing one thing........allowing me to see that racism for profit by the keep the hate alive sorts like the NAACP, Calypso Louie and the KKK and Illinois Nazis ( I hate Illinois Nazi’s ....Blues Brothers Quote...;o)......... They are no different be the black or white or any other color when they keep such crap at the forefront for personal gain.

Well Obama has lost any credibility he may have had now ......Hopefully he does beat Hillary because he can easily be beat now.......!!

The likes of Wright and Obama cannot help themselves. They truly believe this swill and believe that since it has taken a hit (the hit of truth and the light of day) that they have to somehow get out there and try and polish it up, somhow sugar coat it so we will all accept it.
