Olbermann Nostalgic for Days Rush Could Be Hung for Riot Remarks

Who said leftists are opposed to the death penalty? It's just a question of who's being hung. . .
Many Americans might wax nostalgic for the long lost America immortalized in Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post cover drawings. Not Keith Olbermann. He longs for the good old days when people like Rush Limbaugh . . . could be strung up. Here's the Countdown host tonight, speaking with Air America's Rachel Maddow:
KEITH OLBERMANN: Legally, we've come a very long way since the Haymarket bombing in Chicago in 1886 when we wound up hanging some anarchist writers, who were not even in the state, as murderers by proxy. And legally there is this question of "temporal remoteness" [separation in time between the statement and the act]. You say this now on the radio, it happens in August. It's not like yelling "fire!" in a crowded theater; it is protected speech. But do you think that Limbaugh has any idea that were he to repeat what he said on the air, say the day before the convention, or during it, he might actually be morally or legally responsible for incitement to riot?

Olbermann regrets Rush cant be hung...
I don't know and I don't want to know. But I suspect that Olbermann regrets that Rush can't be hanged.

I wonder if Oberman thinks Maxine Waters should be hung for yelling ‘No Justice, No Peace!’ during the Rodney King riots...

Thanks. I’ve looked at the conjugation tables for “hang” and although I didn’t find the precise case, am convinced you’re right and have changed headline at NB accordingly.

He had better be careful - the idiots in the Connecticut legislature just ovewhelmingly passed hate crime legislation that enshrines the noose as a symbol of racial hatred, and New York is not far behind.
In CT: "Under the new legislation, it would be a crime to place a noose on public property - or on private property without the owner's permission - in a manner intended to harass or intimidate someone based on race, creed, religion or other similar factors. The offense would be added to the state's category ofdiscriminatory practices, which now includes offenses like vandalizing religious monuments and cross-burning.
A violation would be classified as a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in prison and a fine of up to $2,000. If a violation causes property damages worth more than $1,000, or was committed by an individual disguising his or her identity with a mask, hood or other cloaking device, it could be prosecuted as Class D felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine."
They should have added increased penalties for impersonating a news commentator...

Olbermann also suggested to Fineman that a some male super delegate take Hillary into a room from which she would not reemerge in order to end the Dems mess.So he seems into verbalizing his murder fantasies.

I truly cannot stand looking at this man for one second. He makes me sick. And what's up with his uppity vocabulary. Half his liberal audience (all two of them)probably doesn't understand a word the idiot is saying.

Olbermann will never have to worry about being 'hung', as he is a 100 percent unadulterated leftist, lying p*ssy.

Responding, Maddow took some ad hominem shots at Rush's personal life.
This Maddow woman has always looked like a closet "diesel dyke" to me; talks and acts like on too. Maybe that's why she can only get a gig on the "loser" Air America network and MSNBC which has a total viewing audience, nightly, of 18 people.
