McCain Won't Do It, So Presidential Race Will be Fought on This [Rush Limbaugh] Show

RUSH: Let's go to this ad, ladies and gentlemen, the North Carolina Republican Party TV ad. An unidentified female TV announcer you'll hear and then the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, and the North Carolina Republican Party chairman Linda Daves.

FEMALE ANNOUNCER: For 20 years, Barack Obama sat in his pew listening to his pastor.

WRIGHT: And then wants us to sing God Bless America? No, no, no! Not God Bless America. God (bleep) America.

FEMALE ANNOUNCER: Now, Bev Perdue and Richard Moore endorse Barack Obama. They should know better. He's just too extreme for North Carolina.

DAVES: The North Carolina Republican Party sponsored this ad opposing Bev Perdue and Richard Moore for North Carolina governor.

RUSH: That's Linda Daves. Now, is there any doubt what this is about? This ad is about many things, but one of the things that this is about, this ad is intended to help Hillary Clinton in the May 6th primary. This is a derivative of Operation Chaos. There's no question about it. But the news here that Senator McCain, from his high horse in Washington, called the North Carolna... Well, he didn't even see the ad. He issued a denouncement and asked them to stop airing the ad. He said, "The television advertisement you're planning to air degrades our civics and distracts..." It does no such thing! Everything in the ad is factual. McCain says, "It degrades our civics, detracts us from the very real differences we have with the Democrats. In the strongest terms, I implore you to not run this ad." The RNC got in on the gig, too, said, "Senator McCain's been very clear that he expects to run a respectful campaign based on the critical issues confronting the nation."

I agree. Obama doesn’t have this thing wrapped up yet. If he loses N. Carolina, then the super delegates will jump ship for Hillary. Obama is most certainly the easier of the two to beat, so why run ads against him now? Why aren’t we bloodying up Hillary as well? If I didn’t know any better, (and I’m not sure I do), I’d swear that the Pubs are trying to elect Hillary. If they’re not doing it on purpose, then that will be the result if they jump the gun right now.

“McCain is the last man standing, doesn’t seem very wuss-like to me.”A good point.I wouldn’t call McCain a wuss.IMO, surviving mentally and physically for five yrs in a pow camp requires a very strong constitution.Politically however my personal opinion is that McCain is too willing to compromise with the dims ex-McCain/Kennedy.He wasn’t my first or second choice in our(Fl)primary, but most likely i’ll vote for him in November. The alternative(Hill or Obama)is far worse.

We are fortunate to have a leader with some guts who has nothing to lose by telling the truth.
:::::::
Yeah, we had a real President like that once...his name was Reagan. The last President this country had.

Now he looks impotent.

McCain brought it on himself. He had no business sticking his nose into the NCGOP ads. They weren't about him. They weren't done on his behalf. They weren't attacking him. His name is not mentioned anywhere.

I'm not voting for McCain, but if he wants to win in November, he needs to keep his mouth shut and stop attakcing Republicans.

“Right now Hillary seems to have more balls than Barack and McCain put together.”

I hate to admit it, but this is the truth.

Thank you, I'm glad I'm not the only one to realize this. The consequences of the Dems (particularly these Dems) winning in November are too appalling to contemplate.

I want a Republican primary do-over. Especially if the Dems get one. I haven’t even had a chance to vote yet and I’m already stuck with a commie-brain-washed idiot.

Has McCain’s cancer metastasized to his brain? It sure seems like it has.

Yep, if there was ever a time to sit back and let his surrogates do his dirty work, this was it. McCain could screw up a one-car funeral.

We ARE screwed. I am not voting for him, NOR either of the two imbeciles the Democrats put up. I am going 100% on principle, and I am not going to feel guilty about the outcome because it is out of my hands. I will have said my peace. No amount of RINO or RNC-type reasoning and pleading here on FR or elsewhere can convince me otherwise.

McCain is a fool. Dole-lite to be exact. What an idiot he is. Does he not realize that the democrats will throw the kitchen sink at him this fall? “rev” Wright should be used as a weapon to beat Obama to death with. Give him credit, Sean Hannity does this nearly every night on H & C. Beat Obama relentlessly with his racist preacher over and over and over, and throw in his other revealing gaffes that he has made along the way. This guy is dangerous and not fit to be President. Has the country lost it’s collective mind for even letting him run?

He is a wuss because he always bends over for Chrissy Boy “Lardball” Matthews and the rest of media buds while sticking it to members of his own party. Frankly, I am tired of it.
