Is motherhood now against the law? How may teen mothers in housing projects? How many teen mothers have abortions?

Well, let's see: 25 of them (MOTHERS) (& probably counting) ...
...id'd as 17 & under...
...which means they were impregnated between the likely ages of 13-16...

And somehow, I don't think that these girls' mock wedding days' were timed, either, to coincide with some magical 16th birthday, as if either the fLDS or their spiritual and physical forefathers before them, really cared about what marriage law states or stated.

For anyone who looks to the law to determine the morality of this mess, if these women had called the State demanding their right to abort their unborn, the State would set armed agents to protect that right.

I understand that Texas does not require birth certificates (or some similar complication). I guess they have accessed the church’s records. Or else cut them crosswise and counted the rings.

Sometimes. in light of massive police actions, one wants as much proof as possible. I hope it is forthcoming. It is odd that the case is being tried in the media, with the word “probably” throuwn in. Okay, it is not odd, it is to be expected these days by both side of a case. I will be more at ease when the word “probably” can be omitted.

Mothers that are “minors” is something new? Sheesh, have they ever looked at teen pregnancy rate across the country—there are 100s of thousands of minor mothers some of which don’t have a clue as to the father.

Thanks for the ping.

Wonder what the final total will be. *sigh* again, this is so sad but I'm glad that (hopefully) the abuse will stop for these children!

Adult mothers of the Twenty-five minor mothers are complicit in the grooming of the girls for criminal “spiritual marriage” rape. The men must be brought to justice but the adult mothers may be victims through a Stockholm syndrome effect.

17 is the age of consent in Texas. So while they may technically be minors, it might not have been against the law for them to be sexually active.

We will have to see how it pans out.

How do they know they are minors? These bureaucrats are just trying to cover there rear-ends because they are starting to get big pressure to prove that they did a good thing by snatching 430+ kids.

At this point they have lost all credibility. Show us the proof — not inuendo and accusation.

Anybody who would steal a 13 month old from its Mother hiding behind a wall of police men (some of which probably find the role sorely distasteful), when there is no sign of any abuse by the Mother, isn’t fit to take care of a Dog never mind the State’s kids. No wonder the Foster Home system is such a joke.

I pray that these men who have been raping and abusing children are brought to justice.
