A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY

Welcome to Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. For those who start counting the days on Monday until the weekend, we're halfway there! So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

Hi Finest Friends. Thanks for all your prayers for Rusty as he begins his first series of chemo for lymphoma. I found the Feeperpet thread written by our Gizmo about how Rusty came into our lives through a FreeRepublic appeal. Links included. He has been a gift from God to our family and appreciate your continued prayers. Will provide updates.

What a Baby! I am so happy for your new addition! She is going to be a Big Girl! What Joy! Our God is so AWESOME to create such furry best friends!
We are in Atlanta to be with our daughter's German Shepherd, Josiah as he spends his last days on Earth. He has perked up quite a bit since we arrived and his “granddad” lays hands on him and prays several times a day, so we are looking to our Lord for His Will to be done and maybe give us a year or two.

We will pray for your Rusty. We believe in Miracles! My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Morgan was sent home with lymphoma and we were told to make her comfortable and call our Vet when we felt the time had come to put her down. The Vet gave us some pain meds and sent her home. After 10 months of med refills the Vet said he had to see Morgan. He could not believe she was still alive and prayer was the reason!
Morgan lasted another 3 months ! He is now a Believer in Jesus Christ and the power of prayer!( I had worked for him while in college and prayed 30 years for his salvation ,so never give up!)

Hi dutchess, I’ve been out today (afternoon) and am just now checking posts. Bless Rusty’s little heart. I do hope and pray that he will do good and be returned to good health. I saw his picture and he is a sweetie. We will all pray for him and you all!

To: SoldiersPrayMom" Prayers for your baby. We are treating Rusty at a university teaching hospital. I found out there are funds available if you don't have them and are willing to have your pet treated with new and innovative stuff. Rusty is so sick at this point we opted out but if your pup is in early stages and are close to a university hospital it is worth a shot. In the long run it helps all our animals
I just got an update that Rusty is resting comfortably and began chemo tonight. He's still considered "critical" but...we're doing what we can. Will get a morning call. Gosh...we love our freeperpets don't we????? ((((prayers for all the sick ones))))

Congratulations, proud military parent (sorry, I don't know if you're a Mom or Dad). Is your son deployed now? We are proud of him too, and say "Thank you for all you do:)"
To: MEG33
Adorable! There was a big chirp-fest out here a while ago, quiet now, most likely sparrows.
