From tajgirvan:

We believe in Miracles! My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Morgan was sent home with lymphoma and we were told to make her comfortable and call our Vet when we felt the time had come to put her down. The Vet gave us some pain meds and sent her home. After 10 months of med refills the Vet said he had to see Morgan. He could not believe she was still alive and prayer was the reason!

To: SoldiersPrayMom" Prayers for your baby. We are treating Rusty at a university teaching hospital. I found out there are funds available if you don't have them and are willing to have your pet treated with new and innovative stuff. Rusty is so sick at this point we opted out but if your pup is in early stages and are close to a university hospital it is worth a shot. In the long run it helps all our animals

I just got an update that Rusty is resting comfortably and began chemo tonight. He's still considered "critical" but...we're doing what we can. Will get a morning call. Gosh...we love our freeperpets don't we????? ((((prayers for all the sick ones))))

That's great. It's a good choice. I have heard so many good things about the teaching hospitals. We were going to have Chachi's back surgery done at UC Davis because they are known as one of the best veterinary universities in the country, but as it turned out we found a wonderful veterinary neurosurgeon who has a practice near Davis and could take Chachi immediately. As it turned out, we found out that Dr. Kortz lectures in the veterinary neurosurgery department at UC Davis. So we felt God led us to him. He's the best of the best. He did a wonderful job for Chachi. Because of the skilled and compassionate surgeon and the prayers of so many people here, we have our happy little boy back.

I will pray continually for Rusty; that he not suffer and that the chemo puts his cancer in remission. I will continually pray for you and Mr. D. too. I know how difficult this is for you. Yes, we do love our freeperpets and we all know what yuou are going through. Love you, dutchess. Dear God, let there be a miracle healing for your precious creation, Rusty.
