... a Democrat.
40-60% of the Democrat party are against Hillary or Obama. When the choices are more clear in November, I'll wager that McCain gets a larger portion of his 27% back than Hillary or Obama will salvage from their lost votes.
Hey- you’ve been reading my tagline!
She's positioning herself perfectly for 2012--that's what this is about now. Barry is going to be a disaster as Candidate--HRC is making sure of that. Barring getting caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy, McCain is going to win and is almost certainly a four year president. The R's have no decent candidates waiting in the wings.
She will run as the "responsible" I told you so candidate in the primaries against McCain's VP and probably win.
We only get to drive the stake thru the heart of Obama or HRC this election cycle, not both.
Nope-would have been a swing of 6 points... They represent 14% of the overall vote... He won 13-1, if she won 50%, it would have been 7-7... She would have won PA by 16.
Obama has not won the popular vote. He will not win the general election. Besides that lack of ballots, he also has a huge problem with key states. He hasn't won any key states. If he can't when them within his own party he will have a hard time winning them in the general.
If Obama wins the nomination he absolutely needs her on the ticket to win, or he will lose big.
Agreed. And every black Republican lacks the stature for the VP job at this time. They are as underqualified as Obama himself is.
Unfortunately, the GOP lacks "bench strength" in general - and guys like Mark Sanford who appeal to the base won't add anything to McCain's overall appeal in November.
Gee, whatever happened to the dems all refusing to go on FOX? LOL Just shows you the lengths the Clintons will go to when they smell victory.
“A black conservative would win in a landslide, as would a female conservative (other than Rice, who has too many people against her because of the war). I think its probably too cute for McCain to pick a conservative veep this time, but perhaps he might bring Steele into a more political position on the cabinet”
If that’s the case, why didn’t Mr. Steele win his own state (which is considerably “black”) in the last election cycle?
How does that loss make him _more_ electable in _other_ races?

But a caucus favors younger people, louder people. People who can stay up. People who can argue. Elderly women will either give in or not go. But they still vote.
Another problem with the caucus is the ratio. The winner gets credit for votes he/she would not normally get. Sometimes its a percentage of the population. So the winner of a caucus gets credit for voters who would never come out to vote let alone caucus.
Its very funny. They all say that Obama is winning the popular vote. But he's not even close, let alone winning. They are giving him credit for the caucus wins at the same ratio as the actual votes. But a caucus is far from an actual vote. Look at Texas. Hillary wins the popular vote and looses the caucus. The reality is that she has won the popular vote hands down. He wins caucuses. Well the general election is not a caucus.
But you'll bet the farm on McCain's lost 27% staying away in the general election? I don't see the reasoning.
I think Obama is on his way down. As people learn more about him, the less they trust him. Some of the Dems could abandon him before June, even the so-called "pledged delegates." And who will they turn to? Hillary, of course.
Why tempt fate? Hillary hasn't lost the nomination yet, and who knows what tricks she still has up her sleeve. In my opinion, she will be a much greater threat in the Fall.
Let Obama take care of Hillary once and for all. We can deal with him later.
Mrs. Clinton made her third (yes, third) appearance on Fox this morning to chat and cackle with the Friends. She concluded by urging Fox viewers to visit her website to join the excitement...sure, Hill, we all ran to our computers. (rolling eyes)
“Obamas mentor in Hawaii was a hard core Marxist and enjoyed spending time with young boys.”
Really? I had missed that. Got a link?
McCain’s military background has been the chip that he’s been able to cash in again and again. I’m not sure what would make McCain a stronger candidate than Bush 43, maybe it is the fact that McCain opposes tax cuts for those rich “fat cats” or the fact that he is on the record supporting Roe v. Wade and Amnesty for illegals. Fortunately, for McCain, he actually looks somewhat conservative when compaired to the radicals fighting for the Dem nomination.
If the Dems had the good sense to modify somebody anywhere close to the mainstream, McCain would be toast. There is a reason McCain can’t raise enough money to buy a happy meal, however, when it comes to putting a racist, or marxist in the whitehouse, McCain will benefit from the lessor of two evils vote.
Actually those “ working class white “ are not so racist as you believe
It’s only that they understand how much the blacks are racist
