credited with sinking Michael Dukakis's candidacy in 1988
And here I thought it was horrible policy stances that doomed Dukakis from the start. Silly me, believing history!

I’d vote for Willie Horton before I’d vote for Obama.

The Nation is comparing Barack Obama to a convicted robber, murderer, prison escapee and rapist. And we’re the racists?

Algore strikes again!?
The first person to mention the Massachusetts furlough program in the 1988 presidential campaign was Al Gore. During a debate at the Felt Forum sponsored by the New York Daily News, Gore took issue with the furlough program and brought up the Horton incident.

Boo Hoo.
Wait and see how many opinion pieces Yahoo (or anyone else) runs criticizing hit pieces on McCain. No need to wait, there won’t be any. When a Soros type group claims that McCain kills and eats little minority babies there will not be one iota of outrage.
And McLame will respond by leading with the chin, as all RINOs do. I’m already disgusted thinking about it. And I can’t stand McCain.

These guys have no shame. They must be the same idiots that were writing in my college paper back in the ‘60s. Any rubbish that they come up with is fit to print.

Does anyone have information on the 13 inmates released or the investigation that are discussed in the post? The article referenced in the post mentions one specifically where a prisoner was released....But I wonder about the other 12, or even the one released for that matter. Since that is really the only evidence the writer offers to support barack’s decision, it would be interesting to see how valid it is....I just love when a leftist editorial cites as fact another leftist editorial.
