Will ABC really be affected by "Debate-gate"??

ABC has broken MSM rule#1: Do not ask Democrats hard questions; just stick to the script/template.

Upon breaking this rule in Thursday's debate in Philly; when Gibson and Stephanopolous dared to ask the "Exalted" Barack Obama tough questions about his recent problems on the campaign trail, a furor has erupted on the left. How dare they ask these types of questions(of a Democrat). If this were a GOP debate, this type of questioning would be required under MSM rule#2: Do not ask Republicans easy questions; just stick to the script/template. So now the Left is scrambling to boycott ABC/Disney and its affiliates. So good Liberals are boycotting ABC news, are canceling family trips to the Magic Kingdom, turning off Saturday AM cartoons, no longer buying any products of the ABC/Disney complex right??

Will upsetting the people who watch MSNBC and actually think Keith Olbermann is a journalist, really have any affect on ABC's ratings or bottom line?? One has to wonder. Are ABC's core viewers as upset at "their" network as the KOS Kids are?? The Lefties are even comparing ABC to FOX now. Yet recently ABC news ran a story claiming they couldn't find any McCain supporters serving in Iraq. So they really haven't gone off the reservation so much as they apparently confused MSM Rule #1 with #2. Don't let it happen again.

"Will ABC really be affected by "Debate-gate"??"

In the short run, yes. In the long run, probably not.

I watch so little TV these days; it’s mostly mindless garbage. ABCCBSNBCCNN are all homesick for the Middle East; just please take the U.N. with them.

No, they won’t be affected. They just got more credibility.

PMSNBC did the same thing to Cankles. She was basically told to put her “Big girl panties on.”

Hussein got what he deserved, and it’s just another illustration that there’s nothing under the suit.

Possibly, they might benefit. I know after this is I were say stuck in a motel without FNC, I might just watch ABC. Before this, I would not have bothered watching any MSM news.

The real story, IMO, is why Hillary Clinton and her aides demand and require that newspaper columnists answer directly to the campaign personally for their negative review of the debate.
See: http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0408/Clinton_spokesman_takes_aim_at_Shales.html

Hillary’s aid Jay Carson is demanding that Tom Shales answer questions about Shales’ review of the debate. They are so confident in their ability to control “spin” that they don’t care that their demands are being printed verbatim.

This is an incredible outrage, but it really isn’t getting much play.

At any rate, it must be nice to think you have a right to make reporters and columnists bow down and answer to you.

More credibility? I don't think so.

A credible news organization would ask about both Obama's ties to Ayers AND Clinton's pardons of two unrepentant Weather Underground terrorists, Linda Evans and Susan Rosenberg.

Previous debates were never criticized for delving into George W. Bush’s Air National Guard service.

“..the balance of political questions (15) to policy questions (13) was more substantive than other debates this year that prompted no deluge of protests. The difference is that this time there were more hard questions for Obama than for Clinton.”

How could the media justify not asking a presidential hopeful about his ties to known terrorist?

I’ve seen no evidence of a Disney boycott, and I visit one of the more popular Disney boards frequently. And its full of libs.

FYI, who cares if they don’t “sponser” Fag Days. They have been welcoming Homosexual Days for a decade. As if anyone is surprised.

BTW are you aware that homosexual men have a 10,000X greater chance of getting AIDS than normal men?
