Did Barack Obama intentionally make a one-finger gesture when referring to his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton? Quite possibly, yes.
The evidence is in a video filmed April 17th from a Raleigh, N.C., speech that Obama gave.
"Hillary Clinton, she looked irrelevant, you know," Obama says right before reaching up and scratching his face with one finger à la Will Smith in "Men in Black." Note the crowd reactions after Obama does it (21 seconds in) and his sly smile afterwards.
What’s the big deal?! I give both of these BOZOs the finger whenever I see them on the TV. (My apologizes to Bozos everywhere!)
At about 1:25 he gets the crowd on their feet by noting Hillary's attacks while making gestures as if to brush her scheiß off his Teflon suit.
Are you comparing him to a Monkey?? That is not Politically Correct. It may be accurate, but it is not Politically Correct.

I can remember when Canada’s then-Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau gave the finger to some Western protesters. The contempt that he had for his fellow Canadians was so transparent I disliked the man from that day forward. Canada’s third-worst PM ever (closely following Brian Mulroney, with Kim Campbell ahead as #1 worst by a country mile.)

Agree. I occassionally read some of the stupid comments on Huffington blog, and its full of cursing and name calling. Obama supporters will probably think his gesture is cool, and “edgy.”
I vote he did it purposely.

I can’t say for sure, but I don’t think obama is smart enough to think of that. One thing is certain about that debate, obama cannot think standing on his feet. He was nothing but a babbling idiot and his untruthfulness score went over hillary’s head. He is nothing but a liar, which we don’t need/want in the WH
Hillary is going to steal the nomination from him at the convention.
If he is a smart as you think he is; then he knew precisely, what he was doing.
You think he has not heard of 'body language' by now? Or does he think 'subliminal messaging' works with his fawning audience? (Maybe we should go back to that girl, fainting; and see if Obama was scratching an itchy chin.)
Do you think he would choose that middle finger; to rub on his chin or face; while addressing the U.N. or chatting it up with Gordon Brown? How about, a casual, wondering, scratching 'finger' as he meets with Ahmadinejad. . . Would he choose that lone, middle finger? Doubt it. . .
His choice here; again, speaks to an 'elitism' whereby, Obama cannot resist engaging in the insulting 'put down'. And it is not just for Hillary; but all; who are not persuaded by his 'gifts'.
It speaks to his MO as well; as an immature and classless, not-ready-for-President, kind of guy.
Bottom line is that Obama is 'cheap' walking in an expensive suit.
. . .and he is a gambler also. He would not do this otherwise. . .save for that 'elitism' by which he is convinced he can get away with this. Which I believe he already has; and will again. . .
Maybe not that smart; but definitely, not that stupid. . .

Most definitely a purposeful gesture. I used to do the same to a friend at work (yes, a real friend, when we were joking around!!) either by doing just what he did, or pushing my glasses up with my middle finger. It was very much ‘on purpose’ (mine and his, lol)
