FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BURNS BRANCH DAVIDIANS - April 19, 1993
WGBH ^ | 1995 | Frontline

Posted on 04/18/2008 12:21:19 PM PDT by Constitutionalist1958

At 5:59 a.m., SAGE telephones the Davidians, notifying them of an imminent tear-gas assault. SAGE reads a message over the loudspeaker, advising the Davidians that they are under arrest and should come out. At 6:02 a.m., two FBI combat engineering vehicles, or CEVs, begin inserting gas into the compound through spray nozzles attached to a boom. At 6:04 a.m., the Davidians start shooting, and the FBI begin deploying Bradley vehicles to insert ferret rounds through the windows. At 6:31, the HRT reports that the entire building is being gassed. At about 7 a.m., RENO and senior advisors go to the FBI situation room. At 7:30, a CEV breaches the front side of the building on the first floor as it injects gas, and at 7:58 a.m., gas is inserted in the second floor of the back-right corner of the building. The FBI calls for more gas from outside Waco, and at 9:20 a.m., 48 more ferret rounds arrive from Houston. At about 9:30 a.m., with the supply of ferret rounds dwindling, one CEV is having mechanical troubles, and high winds are blowing the gas away. Another CEV begins enlarging the opening in the middle-front of the building "from which the Davidians could escape" and a third CEV with a boom but lacking a gas delivery system breaches the rear side of the building "to create openings near the gymnasium." At about 11 a.m., (Washington time) RENO talks to CLINTON, saying everything seems to be going well, and she leaves for a judicial conference in Baltimore at 11:30 a.m.. The CEV without a gas delivery system breaches the back side of the compound, concentrating on the back right corner near the warehouse-gymnasium. At 11:40 a.m., the last ferret rounds are delivered.

It was beyond brain-dead.

A) They were planning a SURPRISE, maximum impact raid because of the ‘high likelihood of armed resistance’.

B) They were burned before execution and KNEW that the Davidians knew they were coming.

the cowardly Republicans let them bamboozle them.

No. They were complicit in this.

The government learned in Waco, Texas that they can commit mass murder on American citizens on live tv, and there is no proce to pay for it.

The author of this piece:

said Waco conspiracies had become a cottage industry.
If anything, he understated the matter.

The government learned in Waco, Texas that they can commit mass murder on American citizens on live tv, and there is no proce to pay for it.

And they did it again on live TV when the cops in California tried to arrest that man (who was impersonating a federal agent) on live television. That didn't work and a standoff ensued and they burned his house down while the cameras were rolling.

And that was on Bush's watch.

Not many people realize that the United States Army had some combat personnel on the scene that day “to advise”. There is some evidence that some active duty personnel actually participated.

However, each of the people in the compound at Waco had the chance to leave and some elected to exit the building while others elected not to leave.

You need to watch the FLIR tape in Waco: Rules of engagement.

The tape clearly shows automatic weapons fired in the rear of the compound toward the building while innocent women and child were trying to escape

‘Yeah: a burning carried out by the Branch Davidians themselves”

There are apparently recordings that they were planning this but there isn’t proof the fire was caused by the Davidians. The fire most likely would not have occurred if the FBI and ATF had not stormed the building. They certainly wouldn’t have occurred if they had arrested Koresh in town like the local sheriff wanted to.

I remember hearing somewhere that the refrigerated storage trailer, that many of the bodies were stored in, had its power supply cut off allowing the bodies to liquify. If this is so then it was probably nearly impossible to pinpoint the cause of death on many poor souls.

You're right. The autopsy reports, which declared the cause of death (but not the manner of death) were conducted immediately after April 19th. The remains were placed in the trailer for later analysis.

But there was enough information in the autopsy and toxicology reports to show that these folks did not die at their own hands and they died prior to April 19th.

For example, Jimmy Riddle had several gunshot wounds and his body was found in the front of the building, near the kitchen. Yet, he had no trace of tear gas in his system. His body was mutilated by a tank tread.

The only logical conclusion is that he was already dead (by gunshots) before the tanks entered the building and started spraying CS, which means he had already been shot dead before the morning of April 19th.

“if not all of the children were already dead and decomposing by the morning of April 19.”

Except the one girl killed by the chemicals. Of course since much evidence was destroyed we will never know.

I'm sorry to say that you've been duped by govt disinformation. The FLIR tape came from the FBI, themselves.

Yeah: a burning carried out by the Branch Davidians themselves. That’s right, the same “heroes” who placed their own children in windows to act as human shields,so that they could snipe at federal agents with impunity.

Wow. You musta had a big ol' cup of the kool-aid.

Impressive.

....Of course we’ll never know because the site was razed within 24 hours.....

Had the burned rubble been a former abortion clinic, the Federal Government would have posted armed 24 hour guards and given that place a rectal exam to 'gather evidence'. After that would be completed, it would be restored and turned into a national shrine of 'tragedy'.

Razing the site was nothing more than bureaucratic 'cover your ass' and that bespeaks of collusion, collusion bespeaks of crime and the crime was murder.

Hillary and Vince Foster were there at Waco, by the way.

...won’t hear any reporters asking her about that bit, however.

According to MI dude her name was Star Koresh.

According to the autopsy report, died from smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide poisoning and there was extensive decomposition.

There were men wearing fatigues (camos) and berets. Impossible to say whether they were special forces or not. Military Personnel at Waco

Yep, a govt willing to murder would certainly not go to the extent of writing fake autopsy reports.

Why did the BATF go in there in the first place??? Why?? Because of supposed weapons violations. They Davidians were licensed firearm dealers.

They suspected violence yet they had time to alert the media. They suspected violence so they brought lots of guns. They knew the Davidians were warned and went anyway. They knew there were innocents in the building but went anyway. They ignored the sheriffs recommendation to arrest David in town, where it could be done without substantial violence or risk to anyone.

Criminal negligence led to the event. Criminal conspiracy led to the coverup.

The razing of the site so quickly is what convinced me the government was fully in the wrong. If you believe what you are doing is right then you would not destroy the evidence.

They raided the site after inviting the media to tape the event.
