Ten to one the momzer will do a Hillary type “apology” and the liberal media will give him a pass. Personally, I don’t plan to believe his apology, it smells too much of being sorry for getting caught.

It’s not like anything that Maher was saying isn’t true on some level. Yes, the pope was a german soldier, and yes the church has had problems with pederasts in their midst.

Obviously the best humor is based in some level of fact. But in this instance, that humor crossed into poor taste. Maher is trying to work the same high intellect action that Dennis Miller works. He’s not nearly as accomplished at it as Miller and this set of jokes fell flat, with a thud.
