They all hate America, they all want to destroy America as we have traditionally known it, they all want the United States to retreat in the war, and they all want to make over the United States into a marxist/socialist/collective nation that is much more disposed toward and condusive to their own ideological goals.

...and, yes, oh by the way, they all support, endorse, and are well disposed (either friends and mentors and advisors...or very fond of) towards BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA., Democratic candidate for President of the United States.

Along with Obama's own core ideology/theology, which dove tails with all of these individuals and groups, this says all you need to know about the man. They reveal exactly what type of change this quisling has in store for our beloved Republic.

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

In that picture I didn't see an abused,sad, poorly dressed 18 year old young man. Nor does he seem anything but happy sitting between his white grandparents in another picture.

He left Hawaii after HS graduation, attended Occidental College in LA two years then Columbia University in NYC for two years. Got a degree from Columbia in 1983. In 1988 entered Harvard Law School.

Who provided funding for his schooling and other necessities during those years?

I find no connections he had with his grandparents after he left Hawaii in 1979.

I don't believe what we see is what we're gonna get with this guy as president.

The first time I saw this guy or maybe should say paid attention, he was new to the senate and on some committee. Being a newby he was the last to ask questions. The thought came to me he looks groomed by Farrakhan. (shrug)
