Bitter: the gift that keeps on giving TRIBUNE-REVIEW By Salena Zito

John Brabender, a D.C.-based media strategist, put up the first "bitter" ad to be used in a congressional race -- for a Republican.

"Barack Obama's statement about the small towns of Pennsylvania and the entire middle America for this cycle is the gift that you can use all year long," Brabender said.

He said that you could say it is the gift that keeps on giving.

Brabender's client Matt Shaner is in a tight Republican primary race to succeed retiring John Peterson in the biggest piece of congressional geography in central Pennsylvania.

Brabender said they were using Obama's "bitter" comments in a mail piece shown below.

Brabender is working on several GOP congressional races. He also had a hand in the Rudy Giuliani ads and worked for former Sen. Rick Santorum.

Strictly Republican the only Democrat he ever worked for was Pennsylvania Auditor General Jack Wagner when he ran for mayor of Pittsburgh in the 1990s. Jack Wagner, a former Marine, endorsed Barack Obama at a veteran's event outside Pittsburgh earlier this week.

(Re: Obama liking Bush Sr.’s Foreign Policy)

Wasn’t it Dick Cheney who served as the secretary of defense from March 1989 to January 1993 under President George H.W. Bush?

And didn’t Cheney direct the United States’ invasion of Panama and Operation Desert Storm in the Middle East?

City dwellers are bitter because life in Democratic Strongholds sucks, so they cling to their anti-American sentiments and their Bush Derangement Syndrome.

As long as the “Haves” are outnumbered by the “Have Nots”, things will continue as they always have.

Axiom:

If you always do what you always did they way you always done it, you will always get what you always got.........
