Eight out of 10 people in the Arab world have a negative view of the US, according to a new poll. By extension, governments supported by the US are unpopular, found the survey, which was released in Washington.
A recent BBC World Service survey found views of the US had started to improve by 4% globally, although they remained negative in the Arab world. Only 6% of Arabs believe the US troop surge in Iraq has worked, according to the latest poll.
It was carried out by the University of Maryland and Zogby International. A majority of Arabs believe that if US troops withdraw from Iraq, Iraqis would be able to bridge their differences, the survey found. Exactly.. I just done a poll of my family members, and it was 4 disliking the arabs, and 0 liking them..( the poll was free)
Well, it sounds like the left in our country and the Arab world have a lot in common.
The Arabs have an excuse though, most Arabs can’t read so the get all of their information from the mouths of spiritual leaders. They also have no access to media outlets that aren’t anti-West/Israel. And they’re taught from a young age to hate America and the Jews.
What’s the left’s excuse??????
The hypocrisy is most amazing. True, they all want to come here to be educated, yet they despise the West. On a day to day basis most Arabs are not bad people (the ones living here)-—but their world view is still botched up....in Yiddish they call it verkakhte (say it slowly and you’ll understand the literal meaning.
They sound xenophobic. They should get political re-education.
That attitude often annoys me. Anything that is deemed as green at all is a no-no, because we might be agreeing on something with the silly liberals. So, some people will go to the other extreme.

Arabs are angry in general. The US is the most easy, convenient target for their anger, so that is how it is expressed, BUT if the US or Israel didn’t exist, they would simply express their anger, which springs from dissatifaction with their own Governments and societies, at someone else.
What % of ME Arabs can find the USA on a map of the world? Most of what they know about the USA is that is where Coca Cola comes from.
