Now they're making do-nuts in Houston.
Breaking...
Can you say, “catch and release?”
“Gotta make theee donuts, Senor....”
The price of chicken just went up 1/4 cents per pound.
Great, but how about some of those huge packing plants in Kansas (where I grew up)? Practically all the workers are illegal. Hundreds of them for sure, maybe thousands.
Oh, please let one of the states be Oklahoma! And especially the construction companies owned by state senator Coates (a Republican no less) who has done everything within his power to thwart enforcement of immigration laws!!
Oh how I wish ICE would raid the Tyson plants too.
They could round up millions in Los Angeles come May 1st.
No mention of a single arrest of a Pilgrim’s Pride executive.
I guess it’s ok to hire illegal aliens as long as you cooperate with ICE when you get caught.
Anything in the Southwest and California?
“Nationwide Immigration Arrests Ongoing Now (Breaking....)”
It’s a good day. A really, really good day!
Is the influence of the BIG Donut lobby waining?
By my quick, totally unscientific calculation, they arrested 247 alleged “undocumented workers”. According to historical data, approximately 191 will actually be deported, while 49 will be released back into the community with a date to appear and no bail. The remaining 7 were found to have violent felony criminal histories and will be kept incarcerated until trial or deportation proceedings. Of the 191 deportees, 178 will be back within 30 days and working illegally somewhere else or even where they were when the dust settles on the ICE enforcement file. They will pass through the border left open by the criminal negligence of both the Legislative and Executive branches of the United States governmet.
The 49 catch and release folks will simply relocate and find other illegal work. Of the 7 held, the ACLU will get 4 out on bail and they will quickly disappear. The ACLU will get the charges thrown out against another guy based on a challenge to the warrant executed by ICE. The remaining 2 will probably enjoy free room and board for about 2 years and then be deported.
Grand totals:
247 illegals arrested.
232 back in the population.
15 effectively deported.
12,191,342 to go.
Great Work!!!

The feds just doubled the number of Saudis coming in.
Authorities also arrested 45 illegal immigrants during the early morning raids in western New York, Bradford, Pa.; Mentor, Ohio; Wheeling and New Martinsville, W.Va., and Georgia.

Twenty years ago a green Boarder Patrol truck would be parked on the freeway. That didnt deter the illegals, they knew they would be back working the next day or two.
Ping!
A little birdie told me there were over 300 agents spread out over several states, and that this would be the largest such raid conducted to date...but not for long.
As for catch-and-release, I wouldn’t bet on it this time.
