Excellent. One small point though. The government didn't give us those rights, they were given by God. The constitution recognizes those rights.

On another note, we know that obama was just dissin' us hillbillies in front of his gun grabbin', pro-homosexual, big money benefactors solely for the cash. This was a private function and the unwashed masses weren't supposed to know what went on. I think he may have been setting them up for a loss in PA and other remaining primaries (We just won't vote for a black man, donchano)Too much may finally be catching up.

there is at least one good thing about the consistently divisive rhetoric that Obama delivers time after time: it will awaken those who still have a flicker of reason in them -- regardless of their preferred political affinity -- to realize: "what this guy's selling is crap." Many reasonable people of the liberal bent will find his message undeniably repulsive.

Beware, Obama: divisiveness cuts both ways, no matter how cleverly disguised as unity it may be.

Actually, the Constitution says the government can't do anything to stop them. Small difference, I know, but important. The Constitution does not grant the right to bear arms. That right is pre-existing.

In the U.S. Constitution they are given the freedom of religion and the right to bear arms...if it's bitterness that makes all those small town rubes cling to their guns and religion these days, one has to wonder what it was that led Madison, Monroe, and all the others who wrote the Constitution to include the rights to religious freedom and gun ownership in their document - impulses which Obama will never understand apparently.......
