1) Did Rush give Hillary new life because he wanted to show that he still had influence, and will that fact allow the Dem's to avoid a crushing democratic defeat?
2) Did Hannity put the scoop and ratings ahead of the country's welfare by not holding the Rev. Wright stuff till the Dem race was settled?
Rick, I believe this is good evidence that the H & O camps are scared s***less about the thought of Condi being on a ticket. Expect trash rumors like what the little HSW is feeding here to pick up a lot in the next few months- especially if there is a fight at the Dem convention- they'll need to start rumors to distract from their internal fights.
It goes without saying that any Democrat, especially Obama, is unfit for office, but that doesn't mean I don't want to take a searching look at someone on our side who has recently put out hints that she wants the VP job.
If your son were thinking about marrying Condi, would you ask him what he makes of the fact that she has never been married?
I want to be exacting when choosing what people to support for President or VP. The fate of our culture may ride in the balance.
I find this stuff repulsive - the idea that someone labels another person as “gay” for no reason. I happen to know a whole BUNCH of “gay” people, and for the most part every, single one of them are downright likable, knowledgeable people, nearly ALL of whom are Conservative. Several are quite religious (no, they aren’t Catholics! haha).
But every one of them at one point or another was scared to death of the “Conservative Right” because of this sort of painting that is going on right now.
Conservatives might not AGREE with the idea that it’s ok to “go to bed with the same gender” but we ALL agree that individuals’ rights come first.
When you start lamenting that someone “might be gay” it is an obvious sign that you’re trying to color the discussion in a needless and unnecessary way.
Further, since this isn’t the right thread (and I know why folks brought it up, for the same reason I did - we did our research on the OP and found his facts to be lacking) - however, I’ll point out that this is a good way to get the wolf to take off his “sheep’s clothing”. And it’s worked thus far.
The left HATES Condi. Why? She is articulate, she is extremely smart, and she’s a CONSERVATIVE... the left can’t STAND to see an intelligent black woman on the “wrong side”.
If you do some searching out there, you will find thousands of hateful posts about her, but that’s the first time I’ve seen anything about her being gay that I recall. haha
The fate of our culture already rests on greater problems than determining whether someone is GAY or not. Good grief
I think someone who has been a faithful spouse and parent for years is much more likely to understand and fight for cultural conservatives.
Experience counts, especially if you've gone out of your way not to take conservative stand on cultural issues.

Same here. I was fortunate in that Fred was still on the ballot on Super Duper Tuesday, so I was able to vote for him here in MA. But I will NOT let my lack of voting give any Democrat the opportunity to waltz into office. I don't believe in the attitude of "things are horrible, so we want the Democrats to get the blame". Face it, the media will NEVER blame the Democrats, even when it is their fault, so voting on that premise is just a crock! The War on Terror, and the Supreme Court are the two issues driving my vote, and I do NOT want the Dems making the decisions on either of those issues.

It is funny that the DU and New Politics Institute trolls think they can plant seeds of discontent but don't realize how transparent they appear. Heck, the we have people in the New Politics Institute forums and on their conference calls who can actually tell us before a line is used, what the next method of attack will be.
