Clinton: 'Not relevant' last time I went to church, fired gun
CNN ^ | April, 13, 2008

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania (CNN) – After a weekend spent making direct appeals to gun owners and church goers, Hillary Clinton said Sunday a query about the last time she fired a gun or attended church services "is not a relevant question in this debate” over Barack Obama’s recent comments on small town Americans.

“We can answer that some other time,” Clinton said at a press conference held in a working class neighborhood here. “This is about what people feel is being said about them. I went to church on Easter. I mean, so?”

She’s bitter and pretending to cling to her guns. But she’s not embracing religion, so I guess that means she must be one of those fancypants city folk.

“anyone think hillary is overplaying her hand on this one?”

I don’t think so. Even if she never goes to church that’s still better than attending a church like Obama’s every Sunday.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t she tell a story about her grandparent taking her out to shoot? If that’s overplaying this, then I’m wrong and everyone else is right.
But I think this overplaying stuff is just a ploy to take the heat off of Obama.

WE?????

What? She has a tapeworm? She's pregnant?

As my high school English teacher drilled into our heads: "The singular first person 'WE' may only be used by kings (queens), editors, pregnant ladies and people with tapeworms."

An anti-choice fanatic like that wouldn't be allowed in the government schools today.

Hillary Clinton on Gun Control

Keep guns away from people who shouldn’t have them
We need to stand firm on behalf of sensible gun control legislation. We have to enact laws that will keep guns out of the hand of children and criminals and mentally unbalanced persons. Congress should have acted before our children started going back to school. I realize the NRA is a formidable political group; but I believe the American people are ready to come together as a nation and do whatever it takes to keep guns away from people who shouldn’t have them.

License and register all handgun sales
Hillary Rodham Clinton offered her support for a legislative proposal to license hand guns. The legislation, sponsored by Sen. Charles Schumer, would require anyone who wants to purchase a gun to obtain a state-issued photo gun license. “I stand in support of this common sense legislation to license everyone who wishes to purchase a gun,” Clinton said. “I also believe that every new handgun sale or transfer should be registered in a national registry, such as Chuck is proposing.”

Tough gun control keeps guns out of wrong hands
I think it does once again urge us to think hard about what we can do to make sure that we keep guns out of the hands of children and criminals and mentally unbalanced people. I hope we will come together as a nation and do whatever it takes to keep guns away from people who have no business with them.

Gun control protects our children
We will not make progress on a sensible gun control agenda unless the entire American public gets behind it. It is really important for each of you [kids] to make sure you stay away from guns. If you have guns in your home, tell your parents to keep them away from you and your friends and your little brothers and sisters.

Don’t water down sensible gun control legislation
We have to do everything possible to keep guns out of the hands of children, and we need to stand firm on behalf of the sensible gun control legislation that passed the Senate and then was watered down in the House. It does not make sense for us at this point in our history to turn our backs on the reality that there are too many guns and too many children have access to those guns-and we have to act to prevent that.

Lock up guns; store ammo separately
If you own a gun... make sure it’s locked up and stored without the ammunition. In fact, make it stored where the ammunition is stored separately. We’ve made some progress in the last several years with the Brady Bill and some of the bans on assault weapons, but we have a lot of work to do.

I’ll bet most people on FR can say without much soul-searching when they last fired a gun or went to church. I’ll bet most voters in PA can too.

When I was in college, we had a prof whom, when greeted with a question he couldn’t answer, said, “That is beyond the scope of this class.” A lie is a lie is a lie.

The last time she fired a gun may not be relevant to her, but it is sure as hell relevant to Vince Foster.

Too funny!

“We can answer that some other time,”

"I will have the details on my relationship with Ms. Lewinskyu, sooner rather than later."

Mrs. Clinton, while you are getting the answers to that question, could you corner Mr. Clinton and get the details on that relationship he was supposed to tell us about a decade ago? You know, the one that happened in the Oval Office when you were in the White House, but lied that you weren't?

In April of 1999, Bill and Hillary Clinton held a press conference on gun control legislation. Hillary Clinton stated:

“And since the crime bill was enacted, 19 of the deadliest assault weapons are harder to find on our streets. We will never know how many tragedies we’ve avoided because of these efforts.”

Hillary Clinton Appeals For Gun Control Lobbying

May 9, 1999
Stepping up the Clinton Administration’s campaign against gun violence, Hillary Rodham Clinton used an emotional White House ceremony today to call on Americans to press Congress to ‘’buck the gun lobby’’ and pass several gun control measures.

Mrs. Clinton, who is considering running for the Senate from New York, where gun control is popular, has also been more forceful than the President in directly taking on the powerful gun lobby in the aftermath of the Littleton killings.

Mothers Rally to Assail Gun Violence

May 15, 2000

Hillary Rodham Clinton, a candidate for the Senate in New York, joined the march. Earlier, at the White House, she struck a theme that was heard again and again from the speakers: ‘’I think it sometimes takes women to stand up and say, enough is enough. Enough is enough. We have had enough bloodshed, enough violence. When children are afraid to walk down their own blocks, or walk into their own schools, or when parents are afraid to let children even visit neighbors, it is time to say, enough.’’

Rosie O’Donnell, the mistress of ceremonies today, who touted the rally on her TV talk show and was greeted like a rock star, voiced the organizers’ hopes when she declared, ‘’The rally is over, the movement has just begun.’’

The Million Mom March was the brainchild of Donna Dees-Thomases, a part-time publicist for CBS, the sister-in-law of Susan Thomases, a close friend of Mrs. Clinton

I don’t think she has EVER shot a gun and if she has it was long ago and she feels real guilty about it.
She may attend church occasionally but only those with an ultra liberal bent who endorse her socialistic economics and pro-abortion,pro-gay agenda.

Mrs. Clinton Backs Gun-Control Initiatives
May 10, 2000

Hillary Rodham Clinton, in speech to Newspaper Assn of America, endorses series of stringent gun-control measures, calling for licensing of all new gun owners and registration of new guns; Clinton, Democratic candidate for United States Senate, also praises Governor George Pataki for proposing fingerprint database to help track down guns used in crimes.

In a speech to the Newspaper Association of America in Manhattan, Mrs. Clinton offered her support for the licensing and registration measure in advance of the Million Mom March in Washington on Sunday, a demonstration that is being staged in favor of what its organizers call ‘’common-sense gun control.’’

‘’The moms who are marching in Washington this Sunday have it right: we have to license and register all handguns,’’ said Mrs. Clinton, who plans to participate in the march.

She added: ‘’Many will argue that we don’t need sensible gun control, and that these measures undermine the rights of gun owners. And of course, we all know the slogan that guns don’t kill, only people do. We have to do more to stand up to those who refuse to believe the reality that guns do kill, and that common-sense gun measures can make a difference.’’

Mrs. Clinton went out of her way to praise a proposal by Mr. Pataki that would require new guns to be fired before they are sold to make a record of their ballistic fingerprint, or the marks left on a bullet that are unique to each weapon.

Under the other proposals supported by Mrs. Clinton, prospective gun buyers would have to obtain a photo license, which would be issued only after they had undergone a criminal record check and passed a gun safety examination. Also, all sales of new guns, or transfers of guns, would be recorded in a national registry.

March 9, 2000
Hillary Rodham Clinton criticized New York City yesterday for failing to join more than two dozen cities, counties and states that are trying to force gun manufacturers to improve gun safety and tighten controls over gun sales through legal action.

‘’Changes in the way guns are designed and manufactured, marketed and distributed could save many lives in the future,’’ Mrs. Clinton said in an appearance at a Lower Manhattan office building yesterday with State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, who is negotiating with the gun manufacturers.

‘’There has been a lost opportunity because New York City has not joined in this effort,’’ Mrs. Clinton said. ‘’Probably the people in New York City have as much or more to gain from such a code of conduct and changes in the way that the gun manufacturers do business as any people anywhere in our country.’’

Mrs. Clinton, in a separate appearance yesterday before The Gay and Lesbian Independent Democrats, a group in the West Village, detailed her positions on a number of gay-related issues. She said she supports extending health and other benefits associated with marriage to domestic partners, allowing people to join the military regardless of their sexual orientation and national legislation that would outlaw so-called hate crimes, Mr. Wolfson said. He added that Mrs. Clinton said she would back national legislation that would bar an employer from discriminating against a person based on sexual orientation.

She's not embracing religion because it's hard to reconcile killing babies and same sex marriages in the smae breath.

Add spousal abuse....which she has promoted via "submission" for years....and lying....and stealing...and F'n Jew....and Vince...

She's a perfect candidate for what's wrong with some people....
