There is a lot of gamesmanship that goes with politics. It is a language all its own. That's what my calculus professor told me when I wrote out my first derivative. There are a lot of derivatives used in politics. They are used to get the results you want. For some of us, we smell sweet incense, like from the rows of hippy shops along Tucson's Fourth Street. Others, the smell is enough to make us pinch our noses and run to another block.

For McCain, he has learned to play the left’s song, burn the sweet smell of incense, pass the pipe of peace and lull them to sleep. They are rocking horse people who eat marshmellow pies. With the power of the Senate McCain has been able to do powerful things.

Stay home Condi.

I’ve had enuff of the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton-Shrub dynasties...

Never heard anyone comment on how hypocritical it is for Hillary to be talking about “change” when she’s just more of the same-old same-old.

This legacy has been going on for twenty years now. Enuff already...

I think you are on to something. One man’s fiction is another’s reality. Which is what I was saying about McCain and politics. I am sure McCain is doing politics in a scientific way. For some of us, it is not being real. It is a game of public image which is false. However, the question is, who is McCain playing the game with? Is he playing the Left, or is he playing the Right? Is he playing everyone to get to the endpoint?

Nah. Reality is reality.

Has anyone noticed how OLD McLame looks these days? It must be tough, running against yourself, I mean, running against nobody.

Has anyone got any idea as to Condi’s position on the Invasion? She’s almost certainly for Open Borders or she wouldn’t be in this admninistration. I wonder how she feels about the 40 million illegals in the U.S.?

This is exactly what is wrong with politics. Someone who has never run for elective office should not start off with president or even vice president.

Yes and the MSM will now show him in the worst possible way. This is exactly what I feared and why a youthful looking Romney would have been a much better candidate. However the McCain idiots won out. I guess those knuckle draggers don't think about things like this.

Demonstrable enemy of Israel.

Agreed, but quick thought: Would you take her over Charlie Crist? As a Floridian, I'd like to be rid of Crist but I'd hate to inflict him on the nation...

Sec. of State would seem to be an excellent training ground for a Pres. or VP. It is probably the most diverse executive office in the Cabinet only to be rivaled by the Sec. of Defense. I would take someone who did a good job as Sec. of State over a Senator, who doesn’t run much more than a small support staff.

That said I do not support Rice for VP, but, since I don’t support McCain either, it probably doesn’t make a difference to me. It is going to be a lousy 4 years whoever gets elected President.

Too much baggage from the prior administration for McCain to bite. He needs to have the perception of a clean break with the Bush administration. If Condi is his running mate this would only give the rats a free shot at bringing up every blunder of the prior administration and hanging it on them.

This would be almost like running Bush again - and the only way to be sure of losing.

if the republican nominee for president dies of old age before he appoints a vice presidential candidate, does the speaker of the house then become the republican nominee?

it’s a conspiracy i tell ya.
