Pulpit Racism Leads Blacks To Destruction
Investors Business Daily ^ | April 4, 2008 | Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

Posted on 04/08/2008 3:30:35 PM PDT by abigail2

Racism in the pulpit has been an ugly reality in the black community for some 40 years. Yet, it took the mad rantings of Barack Obama's pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to bring it to our national consciousness.

For the sake of the future of our great country, it is time we spoke frankly about this insidious cancer.

Are you saying don’t speak up because you might be persecuted for it? OR are you being glib?

In order for black America to turn around, they must take back their lives from false preachers. Fathers need to come back to their families, learn to work hard, guide their children, and love America (this is their home, not Africa). They must drop their anger, and find the truth within themselves, not inside corrupt, racist churches.

Amen Reverend Petersen!

That’s absolutely what I’m saying.

Pointing out truths about PC groups leads to persecution, regardless of whether you’re clergy or lay.

All I know is that if a Christian went after every false prophet there would be few waking hours in which to proclaim the gospel. Shine the light and the bugs scurry on their own.

"Further evidence that God is not found in most black churches is the acceptance of homosexuality, "

I have a problem with this line. Most of the black preachers I've heard and a lot of blacks in general are homophobes.

I mean no disrespect, but I think Jesus didn’t want us to proclaim the gospel so much as live it and be examples of it.

IMHO...the 'young' don't want to vote for 'their Father's Oldsmobile'; and want to distinguish themselves as independent. (Forget 'stupid' here. . .) They know little; and he sounds good; for those who have never graced the inside of a Church; Obama is positively mesmerizing.

There are the usual Liberal motivations i.e. proving to themselves that they CAN vote for a black man; and perhaps as well; redeem themselves from any bad 'race karma'.

And yes, the 'freebies' ARE 'gifts'; I mean, they ARE free and freely given. . .and these people are clueless as to what this WILL cost them.

The 'nanny state' NEEDS adults willing to give up their independence and return to a dependent, infantile life. . .whereby the State can take charge of their lives. And there are more than enough of them who will get in line for the chance!

Good for the big Gov 'nanny', that these people can no longer think for themselves; and 'Best' for the 'Gov-Nanny' is that when trouble comes to bear'; with their 'baby legs'; nanny-staters cannot run.

:) We have a black radio program here so I tuned in today. They want B.O. as far as I could tell for a 1 hour listen. They don’t like as they say Pillary and say she is out to stop B.O.even if it takes people over to McCain. They say B.O. might not make it,might be killed. They said for station break we will be right black:)I liked that. They were saying something about Malcolm Xx.The take on the race thing was our fault if you are white because we brought it up cause he is running.Pastor has nothing to do with campaign. We opened old wounds because B.O.is black and we want him to lose.

LOL What isn’t our fault. Gosh, instead of seeing that America isn’t racist, because we have a black in the lead for democratic nominee, they say we want to kill him.
