And many more will come. I wish to God that John would quite fiddling around.
Change will always be with us so that is a given. John has the BETA site up and running to test things on now.. Give it a try as he explores new options.

FR is like the weather in Michigan: If you dont like it, wait fifteen minutes. In Maine, it's wait a "minute"

It’s a feature, not a bug.

And many more will come. I wish to God that John would quit fiddling around. If it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features.

Yes.
Programmers don't realize that what seems like one simple change can create havoc -- unintended consequences.
I am again looking at bright blue links. After every upgrade, I have to try to tone the blue down to a darker, less blinding shade.
I made a comment in another thread: It is sort like moving furniture. After all is said and done, much of the furniture ends back in its original location. That is what has happened to many of the 'changes' that have been 'changed' back to what they were like before the 'change.'

In my very, very old age, I despise change!! Can someone help me get my time back to eastern daylight time. I have been to preferences for two days in a row and clicked eastern even though it was already highlighted and I am still on pacific time in the threads. Went to John’s thread and his sentence about time was foreign to me as I don’t even know what beta is.
To: upcountry miss
I think all is still running on PDT except for the page where you are reading a thread with post and the ‘my comments or pings page’. That page for me is on my time which is central. Everything else is still PDT for me at this stage and I’ve set my preferences to central.
John was fixing stuff last night but I guess he didn’t get finished.

Based upon the following from John's thread I think it may take a little longer for the time to be completely fixed for all.
I'm also trying something new with regard to time. We will try using your computer's clock to set the time zone. This uses JavaScript, if you don't have JavaScript enabled you'll see "04/08/2008 2:31:48 AM PDT" (etc), but if you do you'll probably see something more like "Tuesday, April 08, 2008 5:31:48 AM" [for an eastern time zone.] I'm leaving it up to your computer to format the time stamp, so your experience may vary. These new time stamps will be extended across the board as I update the hundreds of locations where the time is displayed.
This is what I have on my computer for where you posted to me:

On the latest comment page this is how it shows up for me:

So it's still not uniform across the web site yet..... Patience will help you survive...

Here is a new one on me:
While I am fluent in both English and Spanish, suddenly my date and time went from English to Spanish.
I dont care. I just find it a tad strange.

How did you rate a language option on FR? We will all want that feature now.
