I might have said Absolut isn't one of our biggest sellers, which is why they are resorting to ads like these, but our restaurant did almost a million in sales in March this year. We are on the high end and we are right square in the middle of Absolut's target market. The market they used to have and are desperate to get back JMO, Absolut is marketed as a high end vodka, but at a price point to entice people who wish to be up and comers. They were never after the bubba crowd, who drink beer anyways.
This little ad which probably cost them near to nothing, gets them tons of free publicity(michelle malkin's check is in the mail), and differentiates them from the bubba crowd.

“BTW, I am not employed by Absolut, but I do admire their brilliant marketing campaign to get you guys all in a huff. “
Why, Dane, why is it so important that your fellow American CITIZENS are marginalized or in a ‘huff’? Yes, loosing our livelihoods and homes and innocent children to your invaders tends to put us in a ‘huff’.
Don’t you get tired of playing the fool for your handlers?

Why not just let us suspect?
Absolut is at their current price point because no one will pay more. Do you think they passed up a higher price point? They WANT to be Grey Goose, they just can't get there. Trust me, I talk to their reps. They used to be a Super-Premium, now they are a Premium. They, along with Stoli, have been replaced. They did not migrate down the spectrum voluntarily. Explaining simple economics to idiot socialists is tiresome.

Four vodkas to just skip: Absolut, Skye, Smirnoff, and Grey Goose (Oh yeah, I said it). Stick with Ketel One for your mixers, folks. I've got Ketel 1 for the plain vodka, but how am I going to replace Absolut Pear?

Well, with the free publicity they are now going to get from the right wing gasbags, they may get back to super premium, because if there is one thing that sells a product is to have the right wing gas bags(who are worshipped by 10% of the American market) to go on a tear about this and raise awareness of the other 90% of the market(those who don't worship the gas bags such as Hannity and Beck).

How is it paranoia to be marginalized by what is an obviously (and proudly) threatening ad? The slightest thing offends a liberal and it’s “marginalizing,” but a threatening message that says western america should belong to mexico is just fine...
To: Dane
If you think 90% of americans like to be threatened you’re going to be sadly disappointed.

Wow. Very few people will go to such lengths to announce their own stupidity to the world. I salute your commitment.
