A student and his family have filed a federal lawsuit demanding that a popular European history teacher at California's Capistrano Valley High School be fired for what they say were anti-Christian remarks he made in the classroom.
Chad Farnan, a 16-year-old sophomore, says the teacher, James Corbett, told his students that “Jesus glasses” obscure the truth and suggested that Christians are more likely than other people to commit rape and murder.
Farnan recorded his teacher telling students in class: “What country has the highest murder rate? The South! What part of the country has the highest rape rate? The South! What part of the country has the highest rate of church attendance? The South!” Farnan said he took the tape recorder to class to supplement his class notes.
“It was very hard for me because it’s like basically telling me all this stuff that I’ve believed my whole entire life — it’s just basically trying to throw it out the window,” Farnan told FOX News.

Yeah, but then you’re punishing the enlightened kid. It’s not a 16-year old’s duty and responsibility to have to instruct the class in the truth, it’s the teacher’s. I had to do that at 14 with a jaw-droppingly incompetent, ignorant and racist teacher and it was not a fun task. It was embarrassing, most especially for the teacher.
Kudos to the parents who are getting right on this brain-washer's tail. And they raised their kid right, also.
I wonder if they're freepers....and if not, they should be. That's the highest compliment I can give them.

It is way past time that Christian parents start filing suit against government schools and teachers who persecute their children by ridiculing their faith.
Muslim parents certainly don’t have the problem of teachers slandering Mohammed or Allah in classes that their children must take. I wonder why.

The FBI has crimes stats which would enable this fool to break his little rant down to one more division. But he’s probably not really interested in providing all the relevant information available. Seems like the type who really gets off on making a fool of himself, so what if unwittingly.
