As Hillary Clinton came under increasing scrutiny for her story about facing sniper fire in Bosnia, one question that arose was whether she has engaged in a pattern of lying.
The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillarys history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther and goes much deeper than anyone realizes.
Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedys chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifmans 17-year career.
Why?

This really needs to be covered by the MSM.
She didn’t think Nixon was entitled to an Impeachment lawyer.
She’s a loon.
Bill and Hill, both pathological liars. Quite the match.
“...when Hillary backers pressured the publisher to pull the book.”
Time to find a new publisher!!!
The media knew perfectly well about this (and lots more) for 34 years. It was a 34 year coverup, ended only because the media has chosen Obama and Hillary stands in their way.
Much as I detest Hillary, I also know that this very same media is now if full cover-up mode for Hussein Obama.
There is no such thing as an honest Chicago democrat politician. It is an oxymoron.
I’ve had three or four conversations with Zeifman. That lifelong Dem believes the Clintons to be felons. The other person to not receive a job referral out of Watergate was Bernie Nussbaum.

This was the story I was talking about.
The Judiciary Committee allowed Douglas to keep counsel, thus establishing the precedent. Zeifman says he told Hillary that all the documents establishing this fact were in the Judiciary Committees public files. So what did Hillary do?Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public, Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding as if the Douglas case had never occurred.
The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.
I'd like to see a copy of her brief. Maybe the National Archives has it?
I sure hope Neal gets him on the show tomorrow.
Jerry Zeifman is an interesting lawyer. He submitted his own version of articles of impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton to the House Judiciary Committee. His articles included bribery based on Clinton taking Utah coal deposits off the market within weeks of getting a substantial donation from a Southeast Asian coal producer whose name escapes me. [Somebody help with the name?]

This is the smartest woman in the world?
Calabrese commented today how foolish Hillary was to think noone would remember the Douglas impeachment only four years earlier.
Why did we not know this? For She Who Cackles, her pathological hatred of Nixon is rather surprising, inasmuch as she has patterned her rise to prominence among the power brokers within the national party to which she belongs, much like Richard Nixon did in the years between 1962, when he got kicked to the curb, and 1968, when he finally got the shot at the Presidency he always wanted. Like Nixon, she has kept an exhaustive list of all those who have done her wrong, and updated that list as needed, carefully taking aim and picking them off as she lay low in the saddle. Ethics is not part of this vendetta.
And like Nixon, the aura of “liar” hangs heavy about her.
Why, do they store tents, now?
