That’s exactly right, Molly! He DOESN’T care what we think and feels he can win without the base and Indy cons like me. Fine! Make our day! He’ll be a three-time loser.

This is one trying election year. Nobody worth a damn to vote for: 3 snakes in a bag, reach in and pull out your pick.

They[The Constitution Party] may nominate ... but they will not have the where with all to achieve electing a President of the United States. They are a 3rd party and will be a spoiler handing the election to Dem/Lib/Socialists.The GOP doesn't need The Constitution Party to help them lose. They're perfectly capable of f***ing up on their own. For the last twenty years, starting with Poppy Bush, their nominees for President have began getting ever more abysmal.

I never in my life thought Krauthammer could be that dumb and naive to think that what McCain was doing!Krauthammer trained as a psychiatrist. No matter how good his political analysis, from his professional training, he's still perfectly capable of making some very lunatic ideas sound plausible.

The best thing McCainiac has going for him is that the Hildabeast and Nobama are both socialists who were mentored by communists.

Yes ... more abysmal than any Dem candidate. Lets unleash socialism in the US and let it spread without check. Give the Dems the Congress they have and another in the White House. No vetoes. Judges who believe in the World Court and the UN mandates governing lives. Bigger much bigger government to handle expanded social programs and give aways. Smaller military, asking Europe, an Islamic Europe if it's okay to do or say this. Release prisoners in Gitmo and treat them as whistleblowers instead of someone trying to destroy this country. For 2 years, maybe four maybe longer. Wonderful world there. Go ahead and turn it over. Give up, form small bands of party's to detract from a message being fully heard, small little voices in the wilderness. That is what I see you advocating.
The GOP is the only way to create an alliance that can put up a fight at this point and be heard by the vast majority of Americans. I'll work to make change

"Since you are the conservative ... go out and get 51% of the voting population to think like you, 100% on all conservative beliefs. Then you can get them to vote like you always on all issues. Then you'll have a winner."
We (in the USA) live in a Constitutional Republic.
51% of the vote has no meaning, as the Founders intended.

I think you and I would agree that the word “conservative” can many many different things to different people.
My concern is that McCain will leave the borders open, then amnesty will add so many millions of Dem voters that, for example, pro-life judges on the SCOTUS will be a thing of the past. I hope that McCain is not as bad as he is leading us to believe he is.

“Grunthors a patriot”
No, he’s probably from stormfront, if not from the fiery depths of DU itself.
No one in their right mind would support the Constitution Party. One, they’re against the “illegal” war in Iraq, they’re against the Patriot Act, and they want to end free trade, gambling, and pornography.
Now, perhaps you can talk Americans into giving away their security. But their porn? — well, good luck with that.

Oh for gosh sakes...what are you talking about?
I would think if the man is running for President, he wouldn’t go out of his way to alienate prospective voters....even Conservatives.....thus, I would think he should care what we think.

“But hey, hes right there in lockstep with the type of Republicans who have no problem with our elderly citizens, including our war vets, having to live on less money a month than their basic prescriptions cost.”
Socialists like yourself do not understand how subsidizing demand in this way raises the equilibrium price of a good. Instead, your types blame “corporate greed” for the predictable rise in costs and label those who want to reintroduce markets to lower costs as callous souls who don’t have a heart.
I agree with you about the welfare state. I’m not going to scapegoat immigrants, legal or illegal, because I understand how markets work. I just cringe when people like yourself argue that since illegals have socialism, everyone should have it. This is exactly how the State gets people to join its cause.
People here will support any socialist, as long as they will create a police state to deport illegals. It is downright pathetic, and stinks of racism.

“I would think he should care what we think.”
I disagree. Politics is not therapy. McCain isn’t out there to “feel your pain.”
McCain has plenty of conservative positions. Hence, your complaint must be that he is not ideologically pure, or that he doesn’t pose as a Messiah like Comrade Obama. Either complaint is stupid.

Liberals are here?Certainly. You'll find them on virtually any/all of the Juan McAmnesty-centric threads, sighing and shuddering in orgasmic bliss over their chosen anti-conservative savior.

That is clear. McCain is the lesser of the three devils. But he is NOT a Republican. He is NOT a conservative! Not at all!
