At least McCain is on our side.
Can’t have those enemies out there, on the other end of red phones, launch sequences and terrorist cells,
“afraid” of our president.
Oh no. Whatever will we do?
Let’s all hug.
George Washington had a TERRIBLE temper.
I’m awaiting the McShame “Howard Dean” moment when he goes bonkers.
Dear Author;
There's nothing wrong with having a temper....sometimes it is necessary for survival...however.....,
PUHLZEEEEEEE Don't EVER try to equate the character traits of the dignified General and President Eisenhower to this McQweeg rat.
McCain has Cindy, seemingly unflappable and she is proud of her country. Cindy is pretty much a federalist as is her husband.
Obama has Michelle a bitter female Belafonte...actually a racist. Michelle is your typical Socialist with hard line Marxist leanings.
A Republic v Socialism.
The planter, the farmer, the mechanic, and the laborer... form the great body of the people of the United States, they are the bone and sinew of the country men who love liberty and desire nothing but equal rights and equal laws.
—Andrew Jackson
The safety of the republic being the supreme law, and Texas having offered us the key to the safety of our country from all foreign intrigues and diplomacy, I say accept the key... and bolt the door at once.
—Andrew Jackson
The wisdom of man never yet contrived a system of taxation that would operate with perfect equality.
—Andrew Jackson
There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses.
—Andrew Jackson
This is a mistake. Passion and reason are found together. Strong, rational and beautiful thoughts arise with passion and, conversely, the reverse is true as well. Recent, studies on brain function show the emotional and intellectual brain regions discharge simultaneously.
One thing I admire about Rush Limbaugh is his almost Nietzschian conviction that you must have passion in your political positions to be at all persuasive.
So here is to passion. You can hide from it and and just hide it, but it exists and is only dangerous when you deny it exists.
There’s a world of difference between McCain and Obama/Hillary that many who post on this site are quick to ignore due to their MDS (McCain Derangement Syndrome).
They obviously weren't listening to what McCain was saying. Nothing national about him. At least in regards to the USA.
Attempting to equate two people such as Eisenhower and McCain (or anyone else for that matter) simply because they each have a "hot temper" is useless. Of course, there is a difference between righteous anger and self-righteous anger. Also, much can be determined about a person by how, and toward what or whom, the anger is channelled.
The writer cites McCain as getting hot under the collar when someone denigrates the country - well, good on him
