He calls it Hardball but Chris Matthews showed again tonight he's a softy when it comes to Barack Obama. Poor Chris was palpably crestfallen when NBC News political director Chuck Todd laid out the case, chapter and verse, that political payback, even revenge, explained Sen. Bob Casey's endorsement of Obama as much or more than the "spiritual" reasons Chris so wanted to believe in.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: I didn’t expect this guy. He’s a very cautious U.S senator in his first year, his first term, and what did he do? Almost a spiritual announcement he made today: I’ve got to be for Barack.

Todd began by tossing Matthews a bone, but the pragmatic political director quickly reverted to form, drawing upon his encyclopedic knowledge of modern political history to demonstrate that not-so-lofty emotions lay behind the endorsement.

The other day they had a black woman as an anchor and she was really cheerleading for obama.
She said that clinton had been pushing the wright story only to be corrected by her guest, what does the anchor do, yep she still carries on cheerleading for obama, making excuses for him

Both Casey and Matthew claim to be “Catholic”, yet they want to support this vehement adovcate of all forms of infanticide. It’s time for the various Bishops to speak out in no uncertain terms. Casey, especially, is a disgrace to his late father’s noble dedication to his pro-life convictions. Matthews? He’s always been an obviously shallow, testosterone-deprived, moron.

The sense I have about Matthews is he’s longing..desperately, for his youth and is projecting onto Obama all the fond memories of his liberal awakening.

Chuck Schumer planned the scheme to have so-called “pro-life” Dems run against Republicans so the Dems could control Congress, and it worked.
Voters are so naive.
