I’ve NEVER questioned his military record and service.
When there were TWENTY or more folks on the LONG list
of GOP seeking the nomination, John McCain was on the
very BOTTOM of the list for me.
I DO QUESTION his conservatism. McCain-Feingold, McCain-
Kennedy, he OPPOSED Bush’s tax cuts, he opposed Bush in
a LOT of things. His ACU rating is low:

Lifetime 82 rating and ONLY 65 in the most recent year
shown (2006)! That stinks!
Also, he SEETHED for YEARS when he did not get the nod
in 2000 when Bush got the nomination. He opposed Bush
on lots of stuff.
McCain has a LONG way to go to get me excited about his
running for President.

Yes, he has a bad temper, which he will have to ‘temper’ when dealing with important matters.
Some song says, ‘what choice is left to me’ and I just can’t ‘sit out’ and allow Hillary or Obama to become President.

Cyber and I even protested at McCain’s home during his summit with Daschle in 2001 when McCain was jumping parties as we found out later.
