God Bless Our War Hero John McCain
March 28 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 03/28/2008 4:39:44 PM PDT by jveritas

Today John McCain campaign released a very powerful and emotional ad that portrays a man who made the ultimate sacrifice to serve this greatest nation in history of mankind. I do not know how anyone cannot consider that this great man will be great commander in Chief when they see the footage of him in captivity and being interrogated by his Vietnamese captures. This is the man that we need to continue and win this great war against the Islamic terrorist enemy.

(View the very powerful ad here) http://blogsforjohnmccain.com/new-john-mccain-ad-mccain-624787

When he was at the lowest point of his campaign last summer and everyone wrote him out, they asked him if his low poll numbers are due to his support of the war, McCain replied “I would rather lose an election than lose the war”. Now compare this great Patriot to socialists and defeatists like Obama or Hillary Clinton who fabricated one of the most outrageous lies claiming that she came under snipers fire in Bosnia.

God bless John McCain.

God bless America.

McCain For President.

He didn’t pay the ultimate sacrifice. To say that in the context of political cheering is an insult to those who did, in my opinion.

I agree and he gets my vote on that point alone.

Much is said about his stance on illegals, like the current President or the prior 42 others did anything about it.

My grandfather was a POW during WWII. While he was a fine man, he would have been a horrible president.

I did not vote for McCain. I didn't vote for him in my primary or caucus when he was already a sure thing. I have been desolate and depressed since it was clear he had the nomination.

However, I liked the ad ... he has good PR people. It won't convince anyone he's a conservative ... but in the general against Obama (or Clinton), this will be a good ad.

McLame wasn’t the only Vietnam POW. He’s the only one “using it” for personal gain. Wonder why there are POW’s that don’t like him or so I’ve heard.

You can see the extended version of that footage on his website where it says “courageous service” play video. It’s amazing.

Will the posters not voting for McCain be painted as anti-military now? We were accused of being anti-troops and anti-children in one thread today.

Despite our views on John McCain..we need to elect a conservative congress to counterbalance him..we must go and vote, but I will send my contributions direct to conservative candidates around the country.
He doesn’t need any money to beat Osbama. He can get by with the govt funds.

The brave are President Bush and John McCain who do not care about polls and public opinions but care about winning the war.

Yeah right...the "hero" who said he make his decisions based on political expediency.
